When I first met Dr. Syn it was at my initial consultation. He is very down to earth and very factual. I think he knows everything there is to know about wls and I think he is a great guy. Very soft spoken and makes you feel at ease and makes you ready for the surgery. He is very good about making sure you are prepared.
Dr Syn is very professional and lets you know up front what to expect and what your role in this process will be. He is supportive and yet he expects you to be committed to change. His office staff is helpful and available to answer questions and offer guidance as needed. As a health care professional I was very impresed with Dr. Syn and his team from the moment I met them.
When I first met Dr Syn, I found him to be friendly but matter of fact. His office staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr Syn puts a strong emphasis on aftercare and followups which I greatly appreciate. I'm looking forward to going to my first monthly support group this month and appreciate that its a strong group so close to me. Overall I'd give him a 10+ on surgical competency, availability, and the support staff he has in place.
to see dr syn and his website please go to rn www.advancedbariatricsurgery.comrnrnMy first impression of Dr Syn was that he was clean cut and well educated. Nice hair and teeth (very important to me - grooming says a lot about a person). His office staff couldnt be nicer - they are always kind and helpful. i especially like that the chairs in the waiting room and in the exam room are made for large people - there are large chairs - large leather sofas and a HUGE aquarium - it is a soothing environment and everyone remembers your name. Dr Syn has been very specific with me about my diet and has said that if I dont follow my exercise program - that I will not reach my goal wt - he is very frank but, kind and smiles. I would rate Dr Syn a 10!rnrnkf
Dr. Syn was very professional and informative about the procedure and what he expected from his patients from the very first. rnrnMy impressions only solidified from the start to now. He is very professional, experienced, competent and qualified. His staff is the same. rnrnThere is nothing I dislike about Dr. Syn.rnrnThat he is there to help you better your health and he is a non-nonsense physician. No excuses. Don't go into this procedure if you aren't willing to follow his instructions. rnrnAftercare is extremely important to Dr. Syn. And yes, he does have a structured aftercare program. rnrnHe addressed the risks of surgery from the very first, both orally and in writing. He reinforced the risks at every meeting prior to surgery. rnrnI rate him a 10+. I highly recommend him to everyone I know. rnrnSurgical competence in tops in my book, bedside manner is fine, but give me a great surgeon first. rnrnNothing negative to say about Dr. Syn or his office staff.
I was very impressed with Dr. Syn the first time I heard him give his siminar on Weight Loss. He is very compentent; knowledgable, and professional. The office staff is wonderful and very caring and considerate at all times. Dr. Syn cares about his patients and expects all patients to follow his protocol. He explained all the risk to me very clearly before my surgery. I believe he listens to his patients needs and works in a very professional way to see that each patient has top quality pre-op and post- Op Care. I am very thankful to have him in our Community.
