David Kam Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

I just wanted to say Dr. Kam probley saved my life.. And I would like to think he started me on my new life... He was a great doctor and I would tell everyone that.......

The first meeting was excellent! He came into the room briskly and with a big smile. He was VERY honest rnrn

When I first met Dr. Kam at my initial consultation he was very blunt and to the point. I wasn't sure if I liked him very much but I did like him as a surgeon and I was willing to overlook how I felt about him. After my two week surgery consultation he called me and just wanted to chat. We had the nicest \"chat\" and when I got off the phone I felt wonderful. I knew I had made the right choice in surgeon but also the right decision regarding WLS. After surgery, Dr. Kam came to see me everyday in the hospital. During discharge, he took his time and didn't rush any of my questions and that meant alot. rnrnI would rate Dr. Kam as a very excellent surgeon.

Wow first impression was unbelievable, I've never been so comfortable with a doctor in my life. Everything about him put me so at ease and soon after talking to him I realized I had made the right choice. I had previously seen a surgeon in Toronto and for some reason I just wasn't comfortable with him. I highly recommend Dr Kam to anyone.

I found Dr. Kam to be very personable and very caring and imformative.

I liked Dr. Kam right from the start. He had been the surgeon for 2 girls that I work with and came highly recommended. I attended his seminar and found him to be very brilliant and kind, and a man of few words. He did not beat around the bush, did not sugar-coat anything, just straight to the point.rnI recently saw him for my 2 week check up and was sick. He was quick to rule things out and had a plan for me in very quick time. I appreciate this in a Dr.rnMy surgery went well, and each day I am feeling better and stronger. I would definately recommend Dr. Kam to any one exploring their options for WLS.

My first impression of Dr. Kam was very caring. He talks to you not through you! While in hospital, I had several visits from Dr. Kam.rnHe explained things in a way that everyone could understand. My first impression of Dr. Kam was that he was definitely someone who wasn't going to let me fail. My impression of him didn't change at all, he is an encouragement to me and I wish him the best.rnrnDr. Kam's office staff is wonderful, the entire staff at the Barix clinic is wonderful, nice and kind--if ever need anything ever again I want them to be there with me, especially those who had to find my veins, great job--not even the Red Cross could find my veins!rnrnMy entire experience with Barix and Dr. Kam and his staff was wonderful. I recommend them to anybody and everybody. I rate him and his staff a 10 out of 10, perfect.

Dr Kam seemed very professional on our first meeting. He answered all the questions I had without hesitation. His staff was helpful and informative also.
