My first impression of Dr Cacucci that she is very young, however, she is very, very good and a very knowledgeable doctor! I truly appreciate and trust her abilities. Her office staff is also very good, especially her nurse, Sue. She has answered my questions with great patience since I have been home. Future patients should not be surprise by how young she looks, it is no indication of her abilities. Aftercare is important to Dr Cacucci. I saw her 1 wk post op and was given instructions until my next visit which is at 6 wks.The one thing about Dr Cacucci is that I wish she would offer more direction other than on questions that I asked. I am not very good at coming up with questions ahead of time or on the spot. Even with that, Dr Cacucci is very direct about the risks of surgery and not following the post op instructions. Also, her bedside manner is equivalent to her surgical abilities....both are very good!Overall, I would rate her very good and would recommend her to anyone in the IN area.
She is an awesome person. I have not talk to her much but what I have talked to her about has been very informative and supper nice! I have complete faith in her and her staff. Very smart lady. First time I have every been to the doctors where I didn't feel like they were going to hark on me about my weight.
Dr. Cacucci is a MD that I work with as I am a bariatric nurse. She is very personable and i ask alot of questions and she has always been very curtious when anwering my questions as a nurse and as a patient. Her office staff is very friendly but andrea that financial team leader is the best. She went out of her way to help me with the information that i needed regarding my portion of the surgery. Dr cacucci has a very structures aftercare program and she does stress that. Also a word to the wise if you smoke you have to quit or else she will not do the surgery. The nicotine impedes the healing. I am struggling with that now.
My first impression of Dr. Cacucci, was very inspirational. When she gave her talk about the surgery and what to expect, she was clear, concise, and to the point. With the one on one meeting she was warm and interested in you. She is very calming and I had instant confidence in her.
Her office staff is very professional and wonderful. When you call the nurse with a question, you leave a message and they are back with you in less than an hour, with an answer or your prescription already called in.
Aftercare is very important, you see the dietician first and then you have your scheduled visit with the Doctor.
Overall, I would rate Dr. Cacucci, excellent. Good listener, easy to talk to, and caring.
I am near my six month mark, and there is not one negative thing that has happened to me with my experiences with the Doctor or her staff.
I went to one of Dr. Cacucci's consultions. She answered alot of my questions without me even having to ask. I then meet with her one on one for about 10 min. She told me everything I would need to gather for the insurance co. She was vey nice and straight foward with all of her info which was a good thing. I need to hear the good, bad and the very ugly about this surgery. I am glad I have chose her to do my surgery.
My first impression was she is really young. She was very reserved but knew what she was talking about when it came to the Bariatric Surgery. She was very confident in her ability to perform this type of surgery. During our one on one not a whole lot was said it was really quick. I would say that I would like a Dr that is confident and has a good bed side manner. Her office staff seemed very friendly. She is a firm believer that there is lots of aftercare measures that need to be followed in order for this surgery to be effective. I think she is just what I need someone who is strict when it comes to folling post op guidelines. I have spoke to Heather the scheduling coordinator she is great.

I met Dr. RoseMarie Jones on September 15th, 2004 She was knowledgeable, confident, nicely dressed and very pleasant on my first meeting with her.
The office staff was very nice, kind, helpful and if they could not answer a question they knew who to refer you to.
Her office had extra large chairs which I felt little in since I did not hang over them and I still had extra room in the chair.
Dr. RoseMarie Jones does not want people changing there pain meds before surgery! If you have chronic pain now do not listen if someone tells you to lower your pain meds. I did, I'm in a lot of pain now, and I am having to fight to get the pain meds I need back again because I weened myself off of them after being advised by well meaning people. My husband is getting involved with my doctors to get me back on Methadose which relieves my pain and it is cheap at the Pharmacy compared to Morphine Sulfate. Loratab does not relieve my lower back pain and Fibromyalgia. I have to have my pain controlled so that I can continue to work out at the gym which in turn will help my back pain and Fibromyalgia after I lose this weight.

I was unable to have my surgery today because I had an allergic reation to the liquid pain reliever my Family Doc started me on shortly before my surgery date. Also my blood pressure was too high. Hopefully I will get a 2nd chance to have this surgery.

Heather, the Surgery Coordinator, returned my call today. Heather is just so kind and nice to me. I think she is a very special person.
Dr. Jones was booked up with surgies already scheduled until the end of this year.
Dr. Brenda Caccuci agreed to do my surgery on Tuesday, December 21, 2004. I am so thankful that Dr. Brenda worked me in so quickly. I have only heard great things about the Women at Carmel Surgical Specialist. I only have 4 more days and then the New Me is going to start emerging and a shed these pounds.
I can't wait to meet you Dr. Brenda on my surgery day. I've heard how wonderful and skilled you are from some of your other patients. I trust you with my life.
I orignally had scheduled my surgery with Dr. Rosemarie Jones, but a week prior to my surgery, Dr Jones's office called and asked if I would consider letting Dr. Cacucci do my surgery because Dr Jones could not do my surgery on that date. After reviewing Dr Cacucci's bio and education on their web site, I called the office back and said I would go with Dr Cacucci on my scheduled day. I did not meet Dr Cacucci until the day of my surgery. She seemed very nice, reserved, but friendly. Since I am 10 weeks post op, I have met with Dr Cacucci twice, she now seems more friendly and more concerned. The office staff is wonderful. If you have a question and have to leave a message, they get right back to you as soon as they can. Very good service from the staff. The thing I did not like at first about Dr Cacucci was her quietness, but even still, she exuded a confidence that I like about her. Dr Cacucci really wants patients to stick with the diet handed out to patients prior to surgery. Dr Cacucci seems very concerned that her patients lose as much weight as possible, and keep it off. I don't remember Dr Cacucci going over the risks involved with the surgery, since the first time I met with Dr Cacucci was the day of surgery, I can't remember much prior to surgery. I do know that classes leading up to the surgery went over the risks several times. I was well aware of the risks of surgery prior to my surgery date. I would rate Dr Cacucci a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. She is very professional, concerned with both weight loss and keeping the weight off the patient. I feel surgical competence and bedside manner are both very important when it comes to this type of surgery. Bariatric patients I feel are high maintenence because of the struggles we've had with weight in the past. Usually the surgery is the step a person has to regain their life back, so patients, I feel, tend to be emotional, so it is very important to have a good bedside manner. I also feel a sugeon should be very competent in this procedure. This surgery is very risky, and I would not want to put my life in the hands of a surgeon that wasn't as skilled or caring as Dr. Cacucci. I recommed Dr Cacucci very highly, and wish all bariatric patients have as good a surgery as I did.
When I met with Dr. Cacucci she was very laid back and wasn't in a hurry. She explained to me what she thought would be the best type of surgery for me. I had concerns about abdominal scarring from previous surgeries and she felt like she could still do the RNY without doing it open. I was very pleased and at ease. Her whole staff was very informative and when I called they were always willing to give me information that I needed.
I liked Dr. Cacucci from the very begininng, she was a no nonsense kind of professional, but over time she became the compassionate Doctor that gains a lot of respect from her patients. The office staff is great, always accomodating and helpful with whatever the patient may need.
Dr. Cacucci is very careful to educate her patients with all the necessary tools for success. She also expects the patient to take responsibility for the new adventure. Overall I would recommend her for this procedure because of her experience and knowledge and anyone who is planning bariatric surgery would want the best of the best performing this procedure and she is the BEST OF THE BEST....
