My first impression of Dr. Cacucci was a good one. You could really tell right up front that she was on it. She smiled alot and seemed very caring and willing to take her time with me. She addressed the risk of surgery at my first consultation, and was able to answer all of my questions, honestly, and openly.rnDr. Cacucci had a way of making me feel so safe the day of surgery. After she came in to talk to me and my husband, I was less scared. I think there is an angel that just sits on her shoulder all the time. She has so much experience with the lap procedure. I can't believe my stomach, they look like little scratches. She is able to do the majority of her surgery's lap. I think she is absolutely wonderful and I am so so glad that I had her as my surgeon.
Dr. Cacucci and her staff were very professional. She is a very straight shooter and talked to me about all the risks involved as well as the upside. I have all the confidence in the world on her surgical competence. Anytime I have had questions, all I have had to do was email her or call her staff and recieve an answer within a few hours or the next day. I have umlimited access to the dieticians whenever I have a problem or a question. St. Vincent's Bariatric Center in Carmel in my opinion is one of the finest facilities in the country, and I researched many for a couple of years before deciding on this one. Dr. Cacucci and her colleagues are very respected among their piers and I would recommend them to anyone. I have had no complications and would do this over again in a heartbeat.
I met with Dr. Cacucci on Dec 6th at the St. Vincent Carmel Hosp. My first impression of her was that she really seemed to have it all together. rnrnI was very impressed with the way that she explained the procedure and the side effects to the surgery.rnrnI think that future patients should know that she is very nice and very caring about the need to help with obesity.rnrnI haven't had surgery yet. It is schedule for Feb 1, 2007
I thought that Dr. Cacucci looked way too young to be a bariatric surgeon. I expected to see an old man that had been doing this for 15 years. But I soon realized that she was the surgeon for me. I like alot of things about her but the thing that i like the most is that she is persistent. I had a few times when I needed care and she was very good about sending me to some specialists. She was very determined to find out what was wrong. Even though she didnt know herself, she still followed through with my care. I would recommend her to anyone. To me, surgical competence and bedside manner are equally important.
Dr. Cacucci is very professional and compent yet warm and caring. She does appear young at first but there's nothing wrong with being \"young\" and she has enough experience to know what she is doing while knowing all the \"latest\". rnHer office staff is very nice (the office itself is quite lovely). Katie took my drain tube out and it hurt like heck but Katie was a doll. rnrnI think the surgeons probably leave alot up to the bariactric center, nutritionists and pre-classes for our education and they work closely together. I feel that I can contact Dr. Cacucci about any questions and she will be responsive. rnI have been lucky and had no real complications so far ( just in week 2 post op) but I feel I am in good hands and would recommend Dr. Cacucci.
