Brenda Cacucci Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

I met with Dr. Cacucci on May 20 at the Carmel St. Vincents bariatric centre. She is a very young petite woman with a very casual manner. She seems very convident and knowledgeable and during the general class (about WLS) she never seemed rushed or anxious about answering questions. During the private consult, I found her to be thorough and very open about discussing issues pertenent to my case. She is kind and has a gentle nature. And...she has very small hands!! A real credit for a surgeon!
She has only been the primary surgeon for 20 RNY's since Jan. 02, but she served as resident assistant for Rose Marie Jones prior to that time, learning her technique, and Dr. Jones now assists her.
I feel very confident in her ability and feel that she has surrounded herself with extremely competent support staff.

I had my first consult. with Dr Caccuci and found her to be real informative and thoughtful. This is still to new to me to know exactly how her staff is. I did not feel rushed when I ask her questions which I liked very much. She lets you know exactly what to expect before your surgery and assures you that you will know exactly what you can and should not do after your surg. I am very impressed with her and look forward to her being my Dr. She also went over the risks of surg. I have researched this surg. alot and now that I have decided to go through with it I wish that I could just get it over with rather that wait months. Her surg. schedule is full and about a 2 mon. wait, I understand some surgeons schedule is even worse. I feel that this puts extra stress on the patients.

I found Dr. Cacucci to be friendly, knowledgable about the surgery she performs. I feel I will be in very capable hands. She made the time to answer my questions.
