Surgical Weight Loss Center at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital Bariatric Center
Dr. Worley is soooo awesome. And his staff is full of awesomeness too. He did an excellent job removing my lap band and performing VSG. I am a RN and was still nervous about the surgery but Dr. Worley and staff ease me with knowledge. I am so happy I found this young respectable doctor, he has changed my lifer for better.
Dr.Choi was one of the best Doctor I ever knew.

From the first consult I liked Dr. Sherman, he is a kind and knowledgeable man. He knows the different WLS procedures and will discuss each while determining which is best for the patient at hand. I elected to have a sleeve and he agreed it would work for me.
I have not one bad thing to say about him, his skills or the procedure. Everything went as it was described to me. Now it's up to me to work this tool on my end!
His staff knows this business and works like a well oiled machine. If you have the insurance coverage for the procedure, then sit back and let them guide you through the process. I had zero stress during the process, just providing them with information when they requested it. Before I knew it, my insurance mandated six month program, was over and it was time to submit my packet to the insurance company. Because they are so good at their jobs, my surgery was submitted, approved and scheduled in one weeks time. Clockwork!
I would suggest Dr. Sherman to anyone in Houston looking into WLS. Methodist (medical center) has informational sessions that are free to the public so sign up for one!

Dr Jaon Balette and his team are fantastic, i have nothing but great things to say about him and his nurses. Also Jan Penn the bariatric surgery coordinator at St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital was amazing. Dr Balette is a neat surgeon, very attentive and caring with his patients. After the surgery I felt great and prepared to take on what was ahead for me. Dr Balette and his team make sure you are well informed and prepared for your life after the surgery. If i could i would give him and his staff 10 stars.
UPDATE:
I needed to have my gallbladder removed in late 2015, and Dr Balette was my go to doc. Over the years after my surgery I have really grown to respect and trust this man's abilities.

On first meeting Dr.Çhoi my feeling was she was a confident, knowledgable and pleasant women. rnI could not be happier with the choice of surgeons. Dr. Choi is amazing. Always a smile on her face and never makes you feel rushed. rnI'm sure she is amazingly busy but never makes you feel that way. She visited me twice in the hospital and took all the time I needed to answer all of my questions. rnHer staff and the staff at Danbury Hospital were always helpful and I even had to make a few calls to the office after the surgery and they answered my questions right away. rnI really can't think of anything negative to say. I went to the office in mid November and had the surgery on Jan 5th. I never had to deal with the insurance issues, they went out of their way to try and schedule my appointments on the same day so I wouldn't have to make many trips there. rnI could not have been happier.....highly recommend

My surgery was on 2/29/12, Dr. Choi was awesome she came to visit me before the surgery and insured me everything was going to be ok. She also came to visit me after and the day of discharge. She is so sweet and caring of her patients. Thank you Dr. Choi for making me feel that I was in great hands.
