Dr. Andrei & his staff are very accomodating and caring. They follow up with each patient. I find it helpful to come to my regularly scheduled appointments.

It has been 6 months and I am down from a size 20 to wearing my new jeans size 12. I feel great full of energy and dont even feel like I had surgery. Food is not an issue any longer. Walking 3 miles daily and doing pilates and yoga on a weekly basis. Just added light weights. My energy level is high feel like I did in my twenties (which was many moons ago).

Staff is great! Feel like I am talking to family.

I've had a great experience and everyone in the office is very friendly. I always look forward to my next appointment because the staff is so warm and welcoming. This is the place to come because you feel right at home.

Today is November 14 and after almost 6 months of my surgery I'm so excited because I have lost the total of 63lbs. How great is that? I feel good and happy even more when I try old clothes that I saved up for "one day" and I can wear them again, is actually getting a little lose on me already and it feels great.
Dr. Andrei and his office is very helpful and caring, I will recomend him in a heartbeat. Thanks to everyone who is being part of my journey!

I love this Dr office. EVERYONE is wonderful. So happy with the change from the other office I was going to . Pam and Andy are my favorite and make you feel very comfortable. Dr Andrei is great and he really cares about his patients and makes great suggestions. He is not just trying to get you to do the surgery he seems to be very conservative.

I have completed the third week of my post-surgical recovery, and can look back and comment on Dr. Andrei with only positive remarks. The surgery, although radical, was my choice and will in the end be a life saving intervention; I wanted a top surgeon with many years of experience. Dr. Andrei, who was recommended by my internist, was from the start, very professional along with his superb surgical team and office support staff. I believe that all patients have a certain amount of fear they have to deal with prior to surgery, and being in the hands of professionals who know their business, is a comforting thought. In order to be completely objective and not to describe Dr. Andrei as a faultless human being, I can say that he may need to work on his "bed side manner" as sometimes he may come off a bit too "professional."

However, as of this writing and not negating the possibility of something happening in the coming weeks [e.g. infection, internal pain, etc.] I can say that the procedure was a success and that since then I have managed to drop thirty-five pounds. To anyone considering having this procedure, I recommend Dr. Andrei without reservation.

I had Bariatric by-pass on September 27, 2012 with Dr. Andrei. In 2009 I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart problems. I also had asthma and back problems. After losing 70lbs on my own my Diabetes was still not controlled. I decided to look into the Bariatric by-pass surgery. I know two people very close to me who had the surgery, one with minor complications and the other with more severe complications so I was very concerned.
I researched several doctors and when I came across Dr. Andrei I could not find one complaint, which truthfully concerned me, because every other doctor I researched had some complications or at least one or two people who had a complaint, but I couldn’t find one complaint. In this day and age especially you can’t please everyone. Well I found out first hand why I couldn’t find a negative review on Dr. Andrei or his staff.
They amazed me in several ways. Everyone is so pleasant, they work with you & your insurance, they are very thorough with the testing they do. During testing they found I had Gal-stones so before I could have by-pass surgery I had my gallbladder taken out. Pam walks you through the process step by step. Dr. Andrei goes over your medical history and all the possible procedures you can have and which he would suggest.
They do their best to make sure you are physically, emotionally, and mentally prepared for this life changing decision your making. My surgery was scheduled for 7:00am well they rolled me into the OR at 7:01.
There were so many things that impressed me about Dr. Andrei and his staff, but if I had to pick the one thing that stood out to me was the day I was released from the hospital Andy from Dr. Andrei’s office called and checked up on me, well if that wasn’t enough Dr. Andrei himself called me the following day to see how I was doing and for approximately two weeks following my surgery Andy called me twice a day to check and see how I was feeling. I missed Andy’s calls after they stopped lol. The aftercare I received was just as good as the care I received before and during my surgery.
I have a 72 yr old sickly mom so I take her to several doctor’s, she has had a few surgeries and NOT ONCE did any of her doctors or surgeons call and check on her.
My surgery was over a month ago and thankfully I had no complications. I WOULD RECOMMEND DR. ANDREI & STAFF to anyone looking to have this surgery. I was very unsure and scared going into this because of the issues others close to me had with other doctors, but I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY DECISION TO HAVE THE SURGERY & TO HAVE DR. ANDREI DO MY SURGERY!!!!
I can’t thank Dr. Andrei & Staff enough for everything they have done for me. They are all so kind and share their own experiences with you and make you feel like family. Sorry for not mentioning every staff member by name. I tend to forget names, again I am sorry, but EVERY PERSON in the office is very pleasant and knowledgeable.

My experience was very good. I lost 20 pounds in the first week. The office staff was always called me to check on me and see how I was feeling. Pamela is my nutritionist. She is very helpful and Dr. Andrei was very professional and explained the procedure to me thoroughly. I am so happy that I had my band surgery with Dr. Andrei. Thank you everybody.!!!!!!!!!!

although my journey has been a long one ,I have learned everyone's journey is different and to be patient with myself.Don't quit before the miracle happen.
