Arkansas Bariatric Surgery Bariatric Center
Dr Gibbs is a pleasant enough guy, answered every questionrnHe has also been helpful and offered any advice I asked forrnOffice staff is friendly enough, his nurses are greatrnHe doesn't have a great bedside mannerrnHe is the absolute best surgeon, period, in all of Arkansas for gastric bypassrnSurgical competence is the bestrnin all of his operations, he has never had any leaks, any infections, no complications of any kind and no deaths
I can give Dr. Gibbs two thumbs up all the way around. He was very professional yet had good communication with me as well as my family and friends who were at the hospital with me. Having his name on your chart as your physicain seems to make a difference to the staff at Baptist, Little Rock. He likes things done his way and does not hesitate to let the nurses know if things are not to his liking. He also gives specific instructions that are vital to your success post op. Follow them and you will do well, don't follow them and you will suffer. I go back to him next month but had blood work done this week for an unrelated gastrointestinal infection and all blood work came back normal.
DR. MARK GIBBS WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. HE ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD. HIS STAFF WAS VERY NICE ALSO. I HAVE HAD NO COMPLICATION FROM MY SURGERY.
My first impression of Dr. Gibbs and his staff was WOW! They are so detailed about everything.I was looking for a Doc that provided a structured aftercare program as well as an experienced surgeon. His seminar was very laid back but professional and also informative. He answered all my questions with ease and confidence. rn Dr. Gibbs was exactly what I was looking for and I am looking foreward to a long and successful journey with him and his staff.
I had gone to a number of seminar done by different Dr.'s. Thanks to tv and some of the seminars I had attended I was sold on the LapBand. I never even wanted to think about the Gastric Bypass. After going to Dr. Gibbs's seminar which was the first to lay it all out for you about the differance between the two surgeries and all you should think about when looking at life after. I walked away knowing I could make a true educated choice. I knew then the Lap Band was not for me and the best for me was going to be Gastric Bypass. I thank God that I went to one more seminar. Dr. Gibbs was the only one I went to that talked to you about both. I'll be have Gastric Bypass 2-14-07
Dr. Gibbs was very nice, very informative. When I was nervous, he could calm me down. The office staff is the best. Carrie is very sweet. Dr. Gibbs is very serious about the patient sticking to the rules and diet after returning home. He was very confident, which gave me a lot of confidence in him. He's a fabulous surgeon, and I would recommend him to anyone. The only negative thing I would have to say is that I didn't see him after my surgery until the day he discharged me. Surgery was on Friday, and I was discharged on Monday. But his colleagues were very nice as well. Overall, it was a good experience.
Dr. Gibbs, he made me feel comfortable. His staff was very easy to talk to. Dr. Gibbs is a down to earth kind of guy. He lets you know everything you need to know. Ask the questions he will make you comfortable. I would recommend him to everyone. I was high risk because of my size. Dr. Gibbs has a great bed side manner. He is a 10.....
