My first impression of Dr. Hoehn was like everyone elses. He definitely looks younger in person than his photo shows. When I went in for my first appointment with him he was very soft spoken and just seems like he is a very gentle doctor. He knows what people that are overweight are feeling and have went through. rnrnHis office staff is very busy. I think they seem very knowledgable and know what they are doing.rnrnI can't wait to get this show on the road on Dec. 18th!!!rnrnI will be praying for the Lord to guide Dr. Hoehn's hands and that everything will be fine with a speedy recovery!rnrn

My first impression of Dr Hoehn was he was young! He is very confident in what he does and has done a lot of these surgeries, and I feel like I'm in good hands. He was willing to take time and answer my questions and also gave me more written information on what to expect step by step on surgery day which answered more of my questions. His office was nice and his staff nice. He is serious in what he talks about, and I feel he believes in the surgery.

My First impression of Dr Hoehn was wow he is a youngster. But after my visit with him you just feel the security that he is very knowledgeable and had the best bed side manners of any of the surgeons I've ever had. His staff is not only the best but very knowledgeable as well. I recommend anyone that is persueing this surgery they would be very happy with the staff and Dr. Hoehn. If any problems arose after surgery all you had to do was call the office and someone was readily available to assist you. I rate Dr. Hohen a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. He is off the scale of competence and along with his bedside manner hes a great guy. (You go Dr. Hohen)

dr hoehn is right to the point person. he knows why you are there and gets right to it. I love his staff from the first time i walked in the treated me like they knew me all my life. dr hoehn says that aftercare is more important than anything. he is only giving you a tool not a miracle. you are welcome to call his office at anytime, they are there for you and to help you. The office cares about you and it is all about you. You can not have surgery with out a seimnar and there is steps that you have to do. and you need to do it. he is very sure in what he does and the results show.

First impression was Dec 04, he came to tell my family how my mother's surgery went, Cute. That was my first impression. As he explained how surgery went, I really liked his \"bedside\" manner. Easy to talk to. rnrnMy impression of my surgeon has on changed slightly, I have become more confident in him and his abilities. My brother had surgery in Aug 05, so, I have had a few interactions with him. rnrnAs for the office, it is always busy. All of his staff is very nice and professional. rnrnI do not have any one thisng I like least about him. rnrnAs for how much he stress aftercare, I knew from both of my family member having had surgery. I did not have to have him stress anything to me, but I know he would have if I were a new to the process, he would. rnrnDr Hoeh is a top notch surgeon in his competence and bedside manner. rnrnOur family is so confident in him, his staff and his abilities, that my father is going to be having surgery soon.

My first impression of Dr. Hoehn I thought he was patient with my questions and had a good beside manner. Dr. Hoehn and his office staff are very understanding and helpful. I felt they were very organized and had all steps of what I need to do (test, lab work, etc.) very straight forward. Never had to ask a lot of questions because they had given lots of reading material that was very very helpful. I can't say enough nice things about my doctor and his office staff.

Dr. Hoehn is wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone. I did my research and checked out about 4 other surgeons. I knew Dr. Hoehn was \"the one.\" I trusted this man with my life and still do. If I could sum him up in one word, it would be compassionate. You can tell by talking with him that he truly cares about you as an individual. He takes great pride in watching you become a different person and helps and supports you every step of the way. I truly cannot say enough good things about him. They don't just have an office, they have a complete program and you continue to see everyone involved after surgery. He explained everything from A-Z to me, and I knew all of the risks going in. I will see him at least once a year for the rest of my life. I know it says the review can't be 100% positive, but I can't help it - I truly feel like my experience with Dr. Hoehn has been 100% positive.

First Impression: Nice guy, very quiet.rnImpression Change: Didn'trnDescribe Office Staff: Billie-very helpful, great person, Nola-needs to work on people skills, Receptionist-very helpful, friendly. Overall-they seem like they are too busy for their patients at times, I think they need to hire more people especially with how popular WLS is becoming. Don't let this cloud your opinion of them - these people know their stuff and have develped a great program.rnLeast Liked: Quiet nature - would have preferred he ask lots of questions to pry into me.rnFuture patients: They know what they are doing and have a great program - bureaucracy takes a long time to get through.rnEmphasized/Structured Aftercare: Some, not too much. Being a Lap-BAND patient there is always a need for aftercare.rnRisks: Risks were discussed all along the way but not emphasized. Mostly got this from hospital staff.rnOverall rating: 8/10rnBetter: Surgical Competence
