My first impression of Dr. Hoehn was "That's my surgeon". I had a great feeling about him. He was approachable and easy to talk to at the weight loss seminar.

His office staff took great care of me and the insurance process was a breeze. They handled everything for me.

Dr. Hoehn is awesome. My surgery date was May 27th. The surgery was performed at Prarier Star Surgical Center.

I got there around 9AM and the whole process was smooth. Dr. Hoehn visited with me about 20 minutes before surgery. He asked if I had any questions or concerns. All I said was "Take good care of me".

I'm writing this review 2 days post surgery and I'm sore, but no real pain. I have 5 incisions and they are healing nicely. His nurses called the next day to make sure I was doing ok. They have given me all the necessary contact information and I have no doubt that they are there to answer any questions and provide any assistance I need.

I have a follow up appt. on June 7th.
Dr. Hoehn and his staff are fantastic. I highly recommend him and KC Bariatric.

I met with Dr. Hoehn and he is looks younger than my son, but is actually 7 years older. Very nice man. I feel quite comfortable with him. His office staff is awesome! Although I spent over 3 hours in the office, they went out of their way to make appointments for me and to get my surgery date set ASAP.

I was very happy with Dr. Hoehn. I didn't spend much time with him because their program had provided so much detailed information before my consultation, that there really wasn't much to ask. The surgery went well, with very little pain afterwards. After I got home from the hospital, I only used the pain meds once. I would describe the pain of the surgery as being less than spraining your ankle. I think everyone is different though, as far as their pain tolerances. I went back to work after 1 week. rnDr. Hoehn's office staff is very busy, but they are very dedicated and try their best to iron out the issues you might have with your insurance. Actually, I submitted my information to them, and their program has specific steps (such as submitting your physician's information) that walk you through it. Then they contact your insurance company and try their best to get your approved. They take care of all of the issues, so there isn't much left to discuss with Dr. Hoehn. I really can't really describe how wonderful it is that they took this process of getting insurance approval out of my hands and turned it into reality.

A friend of mine from work had the lapband with Dr. Hoehn. I was inspired by his success so I attended a seminar held by Dr. Hoehn's office in June, 2008. He and his staff were very compassionate to the struggles us bigger people face. Dr. Hoehn explained his speciality was inspired by a friend of his that was obese. He showed her before and after photos. It is a very in depth program, very patient focused. They care about their patients success. The follow-up care is very involved. I have not felt alone once through this process or that I could not reach out to my \"team\" at any point. On September 22, 2009, I underwent the gastric sleeve surgery. As of November 7, 2009, I am down 37 lbs.

Very smart man. He has a bit of a dry sense of humor but he has a way of looking you in the eye and letting you know that you can trust what he is saying and that he will tell you the truth, even if you don't want to hear it. I like the fact that everything is very clearly outlined and I can call the office and talk to a real human being. Messages are answered promptly and if they can't answer your question they will sure try hard to find somebody who can. I feel like a consumer going through the steps toward surgery. Not in the sense that I am being sold a product but you know the level of service you get in a Nordstrom's or Hall's vs the customer care you get at the local Walmart. (nothing against walmart, I love to rollback prices). I feel like they appreciate my \"business\" and they show it. 2 thumbs up for Dr. Hoehn and hs great staff.

The first time I met him I was impressed with how relaxed he made me feel. He sat down and told me about the surgery and I had a list of questions ready. He answered each and everyone. rnrnHe is always very positive and polite. He looks you staight in the eye and is very caring. His staff is very busy but still frendly and effecient. rnrnThis group approach makes sure you have been educated to what to expect after surgery, you see the dietician and meet with counselors first. They call on a routine basis after you get home and leave numbers where they can be reached. rnrnThe hospital I was at known as Heartland speciality and spine hospital. It was great the staff are friendly and caring and encouraging.

Dr Hoehn is a wonderful man. I liked him from the beginning and still do. He and his staff were more than helpful and encouraging.

I was so crazily scared right before surgery and I think he hypnotized me, as I became so calm it was noticeable!! He had a deciding factor in whether I was mentally ready for the surgery.
