Dr. Caruana was amazing. He made me feel calm about making such a huge life-changing decision.rnHe was the same everytime. My first impression seemd to be the right one, he's respectful and understanding. His office staff is well-knowledged. Answers all of your questions accurately and never make you feel like you're asking a \"dumb\" question. The only critique I could really say about Dr. Caruana is that, I would've liked to see him more, with it being such a major surgery, I would've liked to be more knowledgable and confident in his skills. rnrnDr. Caruana was an amazing surgeon. Anyone would be lucky to have him in charge of their procedure.

Dr Caruana is truly committed to providing the best health care for his patients. His past experience as a general surgeon has him given many accolades from a varied population, not just bariatrics. People talk very highly of him. He struck me as holistic doctor, which is very unusual. he has a wonderful bedside manner. His team is always professional. It has been a very positive journey.

Dr C..is wonderful! I was really comfortable with him and his staff. I was very pleased with his work. My scar is almost invisible!

I was nervous when I was getting ready to meet Dr Caruana, but he quickly put me at ease with his demeanor. He is one of the nicest men I have ever met. The office staff was awesome too, as was the nurses. Lisa invited me to join the support groups that she runs. I would give Synergy a 5 thumbs up if I had to rate them.

Dr. Caruana is AWESOME!! He is very caring and compassionate and thorough!! Im confident that I am in great hands with him!!

Mu first impression of Dr. Caruana and his staffw as that they were very capapble, professional and the bedside manner is awesome. They really seem to know how you are feeling and what you are dealing with. Lisa, their RN was GBS herself and deals with it everyday, so It's nice to know that someone else knows first hand what it is like. They do emphasize the aftercare very much. They have a state of the art facility also. They did address therisksof surgery tailor made to what you and our needs are,not an umbrella grouping of risks. I would definately rate them a 10 overall. I think that surgical competence is better, but with this office you definately have both!! The only negative thing about the dr and his office would be how long it takes to actually get an appt. but that is also due to the amount of patients that he has.

Dr. Caruana was great! From the first day I met him up till the surgery date he was so helpful and he will answer any questions. He was very open with me and explained everything. The day of the surgery he held my hand and re-explained everything to me. He was so great with making sure I was calm and ready. Then he checked in with my fiance and reassured him about everything. He came in to check on me several times and was so great about everything!

Dr Caruana was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable asking any question. His office staff is extremely helful and really go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

My 1st impression of Dr. C was just amazing!! My impression of Dr. C has not since changes, he's just so amazing!! Dr. Cs' office staff are amazing too!! If you have any ?'s or concerns, they're there for you!! Dr. C & his staff emphasize aftercare completely.. They all want to see you be a complete success!! Dr. C did address the risks of the surgery completely & answered all my ?'s & concerns. I would have to rate Dr. C as a 10 ++. I would have to say on sugical competence & bedside manner are the BOMB!!

Dr. Carauana, was wonderful, he was very informative and very confident. at the hospital he spoke with me again before surgery and was ready to start right on time. He told me the suregery time and kept my family up to date. My family was also very impressed with him and his follow professional manner when he met with them when I was out of surgery. I do not regret working with Dr. carauana and I am thrilled that he completed my open bypass surgery. The office staff are very knowledgable of the entire process and very helpful, they always call back and answer any questions you have. After care was very emphasized including a required nutrition and exercise class before surgery. I was informed of the risks of the surgery along with his personal success rates and rates of complications which were minimal if even worth mentioning. Overall he has a good bed side manner, and excellent understanding of the surgery and a superb knowledge of how to put his knowledge and personality to work to make you feel comfortable.
