Dr. Lautz did a fantastic job on my surgery! I have had NO complications and was grateful to have had him recommended to me. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the MA/RI area.

I was very nervous and anxious to meet with Dr Lautz. I could not believe how kind and caring he was until I looked into those blue eyes and realized that he was willing to help me. I told him of my concerns of my band that no longer worked for me and he answered everyone of my questions before I was even able to ask them and this really made me comfortable I really cant tell you much abour his staff except that they are extremely busy and look like they know there stuff I really look forward to having this revision with much more success this time which I believe with Dr lautz help and my determination the weight I want to lose will be off in no time.

Everything about him is professional - yet he really listens when you talk even though he has heard these questions a million times. First met him when he removed melanoma that was on my husband's back -rnThis may sound silly but I think he is just wonderful.rnThis may sound silly and strange but his appearance is verywell kept, looking , and professional without being snobbywhich to me says a lot about him.rnrnHis assistant Eileen is great making all of the necessary appointments, helping however she can.rnI am looking forward to being healthier then I have been for a long time.

Dr. Lautz is one of the best bariatric surgeons in Boston. He is very good at what he does and I have no regrets choosing him as my surgeon. My lapband surgery went very well and recovery was very easy. I am seeking a revision to the gastric bypass as I have had numerous eating problems with the lapband.

Very kind, patient man. HIGHLY recommended by a personal friend who had a successful RNY 11/06.rnrnI am seeing him tomorrow for the 2nd official time and then again in 13 days when I have my surgery. (12/18/2007)rnrnEileen is a firecracker. A hard working Boston gal with that office running smoothly. rnrnNatalie the nutritionist is very helpful.rnrnI wish they used registered nurses or nurse practitioners... As a nurse myself, I miss that input.rnrnMore later...

I liked Dr. Lautz from the first meeting, he is a monotone type of person, however his soft smile and tone help to reassure. He was reffered to me by my doctor who just had RNY herself.

Dr. Lautz is wonderful! My first impression of him was that he was very knowledgable and really cared about his patients. I emailed him directly with a few concerns I was having and he emailed me back the next day. He was very eager to answer my questions and concerns. Dr. Lautz is very experienced Bariatric surgeon and I wouldn't trust any other surgeon to do my surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Lautz was that he was a gentle man. He introduced himself to both myself and my mother and went over any questions that I may have. He also cracked a joke that made both of us laugh. I was impressed that he does the majority of the Bariatric Surgerys at B&W. He is well worth the wait. It took me 3 months to get an appointment but he is worth it.

Dr. David Lautz at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston is my weightloss surgeon. rnrnI'll start by saying that I believe that there are two kinds of doctors: 1)physicians who are scientific and 2)physicians who are very personable, yet very good and passionate about what they do.rnrnI would personally place Dr. Lautz squarely in the middle of those two categories. My first, second and third impressions are that he is very technically competent AND that he is genuinely interested in helping his patients. He isn't one for chit chatting, but, can be personable.rnrnSo far, my experience with him and his staff has been excellent. Dr. Lautz inspires confidence, and for such a crucial procedure and journey, it's a joy to work with him.
