Very Impressed, yet nervous. After talking to Dr. Lautz I became much calmer he is a very soft spoken person and he really cares about his patients. His office staff were very polite and seemed to be very concerned. there was nothing that I did not about anyone everyone was so nice. That there is nothing to be afraid of that everyone there is there to look out for your best intrest that there are no stupid question, aks questions. My doctor went as far as drawing me a diagram of his explaination of a question about the gallbladder and the removel of it. just so I may better understand what was about to happen. he wants you to be well informed and he does everything to make you knowledgeable, trust me you will leave his office feeling confident and well informed about your procedure. he stresses about aftercare that it is important to follow the regimin and the risk of not following the plan of aftercare. yes they have a aftercare program. support groups they have on a weekly basis. I would rate my my doctor with the 100% exellent approval rate, for his knowledge and ability to explain in detail the procedure in terms that I could understand ,caring, ginuwine concern, soft spokeness,I think both are great to have and my Doctor has them both. This is my personal opinion.
Dr. Lautz was considerate and kind. He explained my options and the procedure and he took my concerns seriously. The office staff was pleasant, patient and very helpful.
Overall my expaerience thus far has been good. The office is quite busy and sometimes when you call it may take time to get through. However, once you get through they are helpful and attentive.
I meet with Dr. Lautz on the 13th and he seemed really nice Im have lap done with him. his assitent (spelling sorry) was great. They are so busy in the office its hard to get information from them but they do their best. Slyvia is great. She has to handle so much and I dont know how she does it but she does.
I liked Dr. Lautz as soon as I met him. He is very down to earth He told me he has done many of these operations. All have been successful.
His office staff was very helpful,Dr. Lautz told me the first time I met him any questions I had, all I had to do was call him or his office. I have called and they were very helpful. He did explain the risks of the surgery, and I do understand.
There s a definate aftercare program, and I think it needs to be followed to the letter. I would highly rate Dr. Lautz so far. I have not had the surgery yet. But I am not nervous about it at all. I feel I'm in good highly qualified hands. Surgical competence certainly would be the best, but I think Dr. Lautz has both. He is a very nice man.
These statements are all my own personal impressions and experiences.
my first impression of Dr. Lautz was a very good one. He is a very calm and laid back man. Very even toned in his speech. Did I mention thqt he has beautiful blue eyes?
I've only met him once on the intial consult.
His office staff is absolutely wonderful! I can not have enough good to say about Jennifer. She is an ultimate sweetheart. I have never met her in person, only by phone and she is wonderful!
My only regret is that they do not do the procedure LAP. I would prefer to have it done this way reather than open because I have read that the recovery is much quicker.
I ma still in the beginning stages of pre-op and they have stressed the importance of the aftercare and yes they do have a structured program.
Dr. Lautz PA adressed the risks associated w/ the surgery. They give you a printout explantion and go over it step by step. They also stress if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call.
Again, I have only met Dr. Lautz once, I have another appointment scheduled before surgery so I am not sure how to rate him but as for the people he has working w/ him I think they are great.
Surgical competence has to be the key because you are not going to hang out w/ the doctors after your surgery and build a friendship outside of your visits but it is also nice to have a compatible doctor/patient relationship and this surgery is quite emotional so bedside is a very important dey factor and so far I believe Dr. Lautz has a good bedside manner.
Dr. Lautz is a very nice man. He is an excellent surgeon, not judgemental very caring. His staff is excellent, especially Nicole his PA. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Lautz is a surgeon at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA.
From my first consultation with him, all the way through my post-operative appointments, Dr. Lautz has showed nothing but compassion and concern for my well-being and success with the surgery. He did a FANTASTIC job with me, and I had ZERO surgery complications. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! Thank You Dr. Lautz!
He was very attentive, interested and comforting.
Too soon. Only one week postop
Polite enough, but lax re: giving information i.e. he's in surgery. You can or can't see his P.A..
Seemingly strongly
I think follow up visits, use website, nutritionist, exercise, call with questions.
Not carefully enough. His surgery went well, but I suffered severe bruising and pain from being handled on the operating table.
Both seem good although did not see him until 2 days after surgery.
Dr. Lautz is very softspoken, but I had trmemndous confidence in him as soon as we met. He has a gentle manner, and explains everything in detail. Never felt he was pushing me, and also felt he understood all my reasons for undergoing surgery. He was very up-front about risks, as was the physician's assistant who was with us.
