My husbands surgeon was ok and did a good job. The office staff on all levels was a nightmare to deal with . Worst I’ve seen. Won’t go this route again.Not worth the hassle and stress. Zero compassion and care .
The Southwest Bariatric Surgeons Center is one of the best healthcare facilities I have visited and definitely deserves to be recognized for all they do. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful, the surgeons are very knowledgeable and experienced, and the facility overall is just amazing.
I have to give recognition to my own surgeon, Dr. Romeo Lainez, who has truly been a great surgeon and has done the best job imaginable when it comes to my health and needs. He is friendly, will address all questions and concerns you may have, takes the time to really listen to you and makes sure you are taken care of in any emergency. He performed both my gastric sleeve surgery and repaired a hernia I had and did an amazing job! I can honestly say that I have much faith in him and he has gained my complete trust and respect as a surgeon.
I am absolutely impressed with Dr.Lainez and the entire Southwest Bariatric team/staff and I am glad I made the choice to come here for my procedures. Thank you again for everything you all do and a big thanks to Dr. Lainez for being such an amazing physician!
Dr. Eric Acheson performed a bariatric sleeve surgery on me 5 days ago. I can't believe how well I am doing! I was very afraid of having surgery, but after going in to see Dr. Acheson the first time my fears melted because I felt like he is a doctor who is very intelligent, kind, and cares about his patients. I felt relieved to have found a doctor like him. He has proved that I was right from the start. I feel like he has given me some extra years of being healthier and happier to be able to enjoy my family. I highly recommend Dr. Acheson for your doctor!

Very informative, patient, addressed my concerns, ordered appropriate tests, thoroughly explained options, etc. So far I am very impressed and trust him.
Everyone at Southwestern Bariatric Surgeons have been AMAZING. My journey to weight loss surgery had been so hard, but once I started going to Southwestern Bariatric Surgeons, this process has been a dream. Everyone has been so helpful supportive and kind. Dr Faulkenberry, my surgeon is so awesome! Mitchell, my Patient Advocate is a ROCK STAR! Jerry, who discussed my insurance, pre-surgical and nutritional consult was amazing and knowledgeable. And every single nurse, medical assistant, receptionist and scheduler were always so friendly and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Southwest Bariatric Surgeons for your bariatric needs. You will not regret it!

Dr Acheson made me feel welcome and that he could really help me. He is very enthusiastic about what he does and alleviated the fears and doubts that I was experiencing.
My gastric bypass surgery was May 5, 2014. I did not have any problems with the surgery and I attribute that to his expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Acheson.

Dr. Nancy Marquez is amazing. She is caring, thoughtful, compassionate, intelligent, down to earth, and straight forward. She is truly a blessing. She checked on me everyday at the hospital. She answered all my questions. She went over things that I had forgot to ask. She is a wonderful doctor. I would recommend anyone wanting WLS to Dr. Nancy Marquez!
Dr. Fass has been a lighthouse for me since the first time I met him. He has been an absolute encouragement with nothing but insight for what the next step in the process was and what I could honestly expect pre-op and post-op.
Also, Dr. Fass has a team around him that will walk with you in EVERY facet of the surgery. If one person is not sure how to answer a question they will quickly seek the thoughts of the another team member to help you.
I really feel that Dr. Fass and his team truly will do everything they can to see you succeed. They can only do so much, but they will do every bit of it.
