Very friendly and easy to talk to. His staff is great to work with. Very complete and thorough about making sure you understand the risks and commitment to a life long lifestyle change.
Dr. Jones was GREAT!!! He is a very busy man and I really had little interaction with him (while I was awake anyway). BUT when I did see him he was very positive and encouraging. I feel very confident in him and his staff I HIGHLY recommend him as a surgeon.
Prior to my first appointment with him I had heard really good things about him. When I met him he was pleasant, easy to talk to and calmed my nerves and the same for his office staff. Both he and his staff clearly discussed risks of having the surgery.
I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon! My first meeting with him was awesome - he made sure I understood everything, answered any questions me and my husband had. On the day of surgery he was like \"are ya ready - let's do this!\" and everything went super! His staff also - WOW! They made any fears I had diminish, made my pains go away, extra little things that make you feel oh so much better! Thank you to everyone at PNC!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Thomas Jones, was the coolest guy! He was straight to the point and really made sure I understood this is going to be success if I put me first in my life change and I make the right decisions. He made me very comfortable. Very easy to talk to and joke with. He is awesome, I would definitly refer him to others. Thanks Dr. Jones
Dr. Thomas Jones (love the name!) knows his stuff. He is straight forward and intelligent. Initially, I liked his name. Then, I heard about two women -- friends of a friend -- who had RNYs done by him. Then I met a ton of people on OH that had him and had positive thoughts. Finally, he was featured in Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine's on their list of 2008 Top Doctors. That solidified my confidence in him. I met him in person April 14th, 2008 and he told me "like it is." He has wonderful aftercare and as of Sept. 2009, I have lost 107lbs with the LapBand.
Dr. Svendsen was great! He has a good sense of humor and answered all of my questions. I had heard good things about him from a doctor outside of the Park Nicollet which reassured the good opinion I already had of him. He makes you feel comfortable and is a very good surgeon.
Just met him on the 27th of February and am so relieved. I started off the process just looking for a place that I felt comfortable and hoping to find someone along the way. The nurse I worked with at Park Nicollet was the one that chose him for me and I am SOOO very glad he did! He's extrmely nice, very patient, was really good about putting me at ease and I feel so fortunate to have him as my surgeon. He was very upfront in telling me all the risks about surgery and let me know exactly what he expected out of me before being released after surgery. rnrnSince I only got to meet him for about 20 minutes I can't really say a whole much more about him aside from that I really liked him and felt comfortable with him doing my surgery.rn
My first impression of Dr. Jones was great. He put my mind at ease with every question I had. He made me feel very confident in him and his staff. He made it clear that I needed to come in for all my follow up visits and get involved with people who knew how I was going to feel. He was great! I honestly don't have anything bad to say, even my husband liked him.
