I was a little worried because I had heard he is a little gruff.I found him nice amiable,warm patient and kind. Office staff was nice.rnrnNow I can say after surgery that he is the best. He came to see me once or twice everyday after surgery always holding my hand to tell me how great I was doing and just to genuinely care.I would highly recommend him to anyone.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS GOOD, HE WAS A BIT YOUNG BUT HAS DONE MANY OF THESE SURGERIES AND WORKS FOR A GREAT HOSPITAL. THE STAFF SEEMS TO BE WORK VERY WELL TOGEATHER AND THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT. AFTERCARE IS VERY MUCH EMPHASIZED BECAUSE OF THE RISK OF THE SURGERY THEY REQUIRE IF YOU LIVE MORE THAN AN HOUR A WAY THAT YOU STAY IN TOWN FOR AT LEAST A WEEK AFTER THE SURGERY. SO FAR I WOULD RATE THE DOCTOR A 10 HE HAS GIVEN ME NO REASON NOT TO TRUST AND BELIEVE IN HIM. SURGICAL COMPETENCE AND BEDSIDE MANNER ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT, I WORK FOR A TEAM OF DOCTORS AND PATIENTS ARE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT BOTH AND WILL LET YOU KNOW IF THEY ARE UNHAPPY WITH EITHER.

I was very impressed with Dr. Zorn when I met him at the seminar in June. He was very personable and appeared very knowledgable about the procedure. At the time of the seminar Pacific Bariatrics had completed their 10,000th procedure. I was so excited when I found out Dr. Zorn would be my surgeon. At the consult appt. he thoroughly explained the procedure and answered all of my questions.

Gentle man, answered ALL my serious and silly questions without making me feel stupid for asking.rnrnCan't say that I ever saw a frown on his face... always a gentle or full face smile.rnrnHis mama raised him well coz he has great manners in the office as well as bedside.

This guy is great- the BEST bedside manner ever- he was very friendly, and explained everyhting to me. I feel so blessed to have Dr Zorn and his team on my side.rnHe loved the fact i was an aussie- so thats good i guess! - His staff at pacific Bariatric are fabulous.

7/2/07 - First impressions are usually the best impression. Dr. Zorn was very friendly, he talked alot about the surgery and things I should do to get ready for the surgery. He showed alot of concern for me and that was very important to me. I think it was a good match.

I dont know his first name but his last name is Fuller and he is at UCD Med Center on Stockton Blvd. in Sacramento, CA.rnI thought he was very personable and was impressed with the time he took to make sure you are educated. He has a very dry sense of humor and is very funny. I was impressed with his knowledge and studies along with the staff. They all make you feel very comfortable and do their best to make sure you are on track with everything you need. They all make sure you understand completely the consequences if you do not follow the guidelines set forth and will without a doubt post-pone or deny you of surgery if they dont think you will follow through with it. They are very honest about every part of it. They explain you can die, there can be problems. They also are very clear on how to prevent most problems. I think they were WONDERFUL!!! They were answered all questions, never made you feel uncomfortable. They were all very personable. They are ranked one of the top hospitals in California to have this surgery performed. It was and is a very positive experience for me.

I found him to be very easy to talk with. He had a terrific manner about him. I still feel that way after nine years. Everyone in his office is very helpful. It's very easy to understand his answers when you ask him a question. rnrnHe definately encourages aftercare, with blood work and yearly check-ups. Pacific Bariatrics comes to Bakersfield on a monthly basis for patient check ups.rnrnAll of the surgeons at Pacific Bariatrics tell all of the risks and benefits of gastric bypass surgery.rnrnMy overall rating of Dr. Zorn is -- he is wonderful. He gave me back my life. rnrnI think competence and bedside manner are equally important.

My first impression was that he was very stern and hard. But, Dr. Rumsey was very reassuring, kind, has a great bed-side manner. He is fabulous!! I thank God for him and all he has done to save my life and keep me healthy!
