I love Dr. Rumsey. He is capable, caring, thoughtful, and a down-right good surgeon. I wasn't even sure he did the surgery until he showed me pictures. And I met several of his patients who had the surgery the same day or soon after who felt exactly the same way. I am excited to continue this journey with him. Thank you Dr. Rumsey!
It's been almost 5 months after my last annual visit w/ Dr. Rumsey. I had gained 30 lbs since the visit prior to this last one, and felt awful, but after seeing Dr. Rumsey I felt even worse. Basically what I was told is that there is nothing more to do and if I'm serious about losing the weight I need to read "The China Study" and go plant based for my diet. This visit was very discouraging, considering the fact, I took two days off from work, drove 14 hours round trip and and all I got was 5 minutes of basically nothing supportive.
I had my first appointment w/ Dr. Rumsey on the 13th of September. He is very personable and the nurse at his office was nice. I am really excited about having this procedure done at Scripps Mercy and my patient coordinator has been very helpful when I've asked questions. The only person in the office I was put off by was the receptionist at check-in, but maybe she was having a bad day. Overall it was very positive and imformative.
I had my surgery back in June but am just now getting to writing a review. Dr. Zorn was absolutely amazing. He was such a sweet man, and didnt treat you just like another one of his patients. He listened to your concerns and was very comforting and explained in detail everything you needed to know for after surgery. He is a wonderful surgeon and I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
Dr Fuller is very kind and patient. I asked him a million questions and he answered all of them. I have had no issues before or since my surgery. I would recomend him to others. I really havent had any complaints. He was competent, and was as comforting as a dr is lol :)
My surgeon rocks. He is caring and patient. He worked with me so I could become healthy enough for surgery. When he sees me, I don't feel rushed. He listens and answers all my questions. He is on time with his appointments. He has never run more than 10 minutes late for me. I'm sure he does this with all of his patients.
Dr. Zorn is super nice and listened to all my concerns. The surgery went perfectly. I had no complications and he even called me at my hotel after I left to make sure I was doing well. The entire staff at Pacific Bariatric is fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone. They really know what they are doing.
My only regret is that they do not offer any long term dietary guidance. The list of what to eat and when to eat it right after surgery is great for the first year but then a person needs to start eating in the real world and fix dinners for their family.
Dr. Fuller is absolutley great. He is a no nonsense, straight to the point Doc. I couldn't of ask for a better surgeon. So exctied I chose him to be apart of the Team of ME!!
My first impression of Dr. Fuller was good. He talked to me about the different types of surgeries and with my history, he advised me of the surgery that would work best for me. His staff was efficient and friendly. Always smiling. There was insurance hang ups with the coordinator because of a change of employee position, but was cleared up to get the date of surgery before the dedline of the review.
All of the staff at Scripps Green Hospital 4 West took great care of me and my family. They really have a good Bariatric program that I highly recommend.
