very nice, still very nice, doesn't talk alot, but I don't care, I want him to know what he is doing. Office staff is very nice.They are very busy, and Maria has had the surgery herself. They probably need a few more chairs in the waiting room, but maybe not, everyone talks to each other in the waiting room.It's great. Aftercare is a big step in suceeding, they don't talk much about the risks, but a booklet they give you is for all answers, and to help formulate questions.

It's been 16 months since my surgery and I can say without hesitation that Dr.Anez is a great surgeon.He is not chatty but don't think that means he's aloof. He cares very much about his patients.I started at 230 lbs. 8 months later,I weighed 125 lbs. At 16 months post-op,I now weigh 118.5 lbs. I had an open rny. My scar started out at 4". I now have a 1 3/4" scar(amazing!).I could not have had a better surgeon.
His office staff is great-- very supportive of the patients.

My first impression was that Dr. Anez was friendly, efficient and professional. I think he is especially skilled in this surgical procedure. He has had a lot of experience. the I really like Dr. Anez as well as his assistant, Maria. All of the office staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. I think that everything was explained to my satisfaction prior to surgery. I was made aware of all possible risks involved with this surgery. Follow up care was great. I think it has been very important to have had the help of a nutritionist both before and after surgery. Nutrition is especially important following this procedure because, at first, all patients really need to make sure they are getting essential vitamins and minerals. Dr. Anez sees to it that all of these needs are met for each patient. I have found the aftercare program to be very helpful. All in all my experience has been excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Anez to anyone thinking of having this surgery.

When I first met with Dr. Anez I was very nervous, being afraid he would tell me I was not fat enough. I think I impressed him in my knowledge of the procedure and post op care. "Yes sir, I have done my research."

Also, his staff is FANTASTIC! They are extremely professional, helpful, everything you could ask for in a doctor's office. I feel more like a friend than a patient.

I've only met him once so far, but first impressions were good. He talked in a language that I understood, answered all of my questions, and made me feel at ease with my decision. His staff seems to be very friendly and attentive. There is a strong emphasis on aftercare. And, yes the aftercare program seems like it will be very structered. Risks of surgery were addressed very honestly and detailed. I would rate the office very well at this point.

Dr. Anez initially came across as very cut and dried...he explained the proceedure very matter of factly and very quickly. I left his office confused. EVentually I got a list of questions together and asked at my next appointment. He took the time to answer all the questions and make me feel comfortable.
His staff is helpful and will do anything to answer questions or help with insurance problems.
He comforted me in pre-op and was very accomodating post op (In the hospital). I am only 4 days post op, so I can't comment on further follow-ip/
I recommend Dr. Anez.

Dr. Anez was at first very professional in his manner but as we talked he seemed to become more human and by the time I left him he was smiling and very pleasant. His office staff appeared to be extremely busy but attentive. Dr. Anez said that after surgery I would be seeing him on a regular basis for aftercare and then ongoing for the rest of my life. He explained the risks of the surgery in its entirety. I really liked Dr. Anez and so far, I would recommend him to any patient truly interested in turning their life around. I will continue to update this as my preop, surgery and postop continues.

My first impression of Dr. Anez was that he knew what he was talking about. On my first appointment he gave me a booklet with all the information I needed. I don't usually see Dr Anez when I go to his Fairfax office. I usually see his assistant, she is very nice and helpful. Everyone in his office is friendly.

I met with Dr. Anez for the first time today. I felt very at ease and comfortable there. He was incredibly nice, didn't pull any punches. He told me exactly what to expect, answered all of my questions and had a smile on his face the whole time. He seems like his post op routine is very strict and I believe that if you follow his directions, you will do just fine. I would rate him very highly!

I have my first consultation appt with him on July 15th. Very excited and have been corresponding with 4 of his post op patients. I feel confident will keep you posted. Well I had my appointment and was totally blown away at the amount of concern that this doctor had for his patients. I felt as if I was his only patient. Very mild mannered and gentle , seemed 100% confident in this surgery and it's effect on people's lives to a better one.
