Dr Anez was a second opinion for me. The first surgeon was young and inexperienced and I felt he was trying to promise me the moon just to get me as a patient. Dr Anez, with his colored pencil explanation won my heart and my confidence. He really wanted me to understand what he was going to do to me and for me! His experience is worth the long wait I have now - 4 months until surgery.
His office staff are not that warm, but they are very efficient. They know what they're doing and they get results for you. My insurance was approved without issue. They scheduled my surgery right away and made my follow up appointments. I'll take efficiency and knowledge over warmth any day of the week!

I finally met with Dr. Anez on November 3rd. He was very informative, I like the way he took out all his colored pencils and described to my husband and I exactly what he will be doing inside of me. He seemed like a very pleasant guy, he has done so many of these things I'm very comfortable with his skills. His office staff were very pleasant. I loved the big chairs, they are good for someone like me with these big hips...LOL

Dr. Anez first impressed me as very confident
and as he explained the procedure in a very
straight forward manner, I felt very confident I had chosen the right Surgeon.
His office staff is busy, curteous and very
efficient. He emphasizes aftercare for life
which gave me a true feeling that he cares
deeply for his patients. I enjoy his support
group "The Staple Club". There are alot of
patients there helping one another. Dr. Anez
is great.

Dr. Anez is very thorough in his explanation of the surgery and allows time for questions after his explanation. My visit with him was very short because I had very few questions regarding surgery. Maybe after I get approved I will have more to ask.

When I first met Dr. Anez, He was so laid back. He was very receptive to all of my questions. He made me feel very comfortable.

His staff is the greatest! Everyone that I have come in contact with has been so patient and informative. They are so willing to help make this the best experience ever.

First impression, very good. I learned through other WLS patients of his that he is somewhat quiet, all business and sometimes this is seen as a so-so bedside manner. He also is reported to be one of the finest surgeons doing this surgery today. I will take surgical competency over everything else any day! The office staff seems overworked but but very friendly. Only time will tell anything different. Dr. Anez very meticulously explained his surgical procedure and asked if I had any questions for him. The meeting was short but I had no questions really, I have been to a staple club meting and have done a year of research.

Dr. Anez is wonderful.....I find him very easy to talk to. I want to hug his neck each time I see him. His manner is great, I felt confident in his hands. He is the greatest.

My first impression Dr Anez seems to be very nice, but he's a very busy man.
Although, I was HAPPY to find out there is help and I'm on my way to a healthier and slimmer me.

First impression...a very busy man but very dedicated to explaining the procedure and answering all of my questions. His office staff are without exception friendly, cheerful and helpful in every instance where I've called on them for help. Much emphasis has been placed on aftercare and the structure is in place for me to obtain as much knowledge as I desire. The risks of surgery were explained fully and without glossing over them or minimizing the likelihood of complications. I am pre-op and will post further comments at a later date.
