Met Dr. Hungness last April when he led the seminar that I attending at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He did a wonderful presentation. He was available for questions afterward and I was impressed with his personal approach to the participates. His presentation was information and I looked forward to my appointment to start my proceed. I felt I had made a good choice. Followup with Dr. Hungness at the office with my husband. He again was agreeable and knowledgable. My husband had more question which he took the time to answer fully. My husband and I were both impressed by him. Pre-op and Post op, Dr. Hungness and his team were excellent. The day of surgery my husband and sister would with me. They both spoke to him after the surgery. When I arrived to my room they were waiting for me. Both were smiling and happy to let me know that everything had gone well. Dr. Hungness visited soon after and reviewed my surgery with me. I recommend him without reservation. Just saw him yesterday for my post op visit. Things are going well.

he addressesall risks and explained possible risks for me, i am no longer afraid.
in order for me to trust someone rearranging my organs, i must have a surgeon who is both.
My first impression of him was that he is young, not bad on the eyes, and very professional. My first consult with him was very thorough and I felt confident in his skills and knowledge of the procedures.
His office staff is very nice however you do have to stay on top of them in order to get appointments made. Do not wait for them to call you, you have to call them and pester them to get things done. And always, always, always follow up with them to confirm appointments.
The day of my surgery he was very good, answered any and all questions I had before going into the surgery. Afterwards, however, I never saw him again! I saw his residents, but not him. Apparently he had left for a conference following that days surgery. I would have preferred speaking with him following my surgery as I had some concerns but all of my questions were being filtered through a nurse and residents.
Dr.Nagle's office has a very structered before program, you will go through many 'hoops' before you will receive a surgical date. After care is not as structured but I feel that all of the preop classes really get you ready for post op.
All in all I am generally happy with my experience with Dr.Nagle and his office, my surgery went well and my pain has been minimal. I'd say that Dr.Nagle has both an excellent surgical competence and bedside manner when he is there.
DR is definately EYE CANDY for the ladies.
Tall beautiful WHITE polished smile, someone you would like to come out of surgery and be the first to see.
He is very knowledgeable and up to date on techniques.
His office staff all have been so polite and nice have had no problems.
I am so far very happy and satisfied with him and talking to other patients everyone seems to love him.
I always would prefer surgical competence and got a bonus with EYE CANDY and personality too...

Dr. Nagle and his staff are a comprehensive, caring team who are dedicated to helping their patients change their lives for the better! From my first meeting with Dr. Nagle in the hospital for an unrelated surgical issue to my post-bariatric follow-up I have been treated with respect by every member of the team. rnThe structured program offered at Northwestern was effectively paced in giving us information we could handle, with plenty of opportunity to gain feedback and ask questions. The team were responsive to messages and clear in their communication, and thanks to their excellent preparation my surgery was approved within a few days of their first submission! rnThe surgery was textbook and I appreciated the time Dr. Nagle took with my family afterward to address their questions and concerns, and it was nice to see his beaming face the next morning! Northwestern is a teaching hospital so there are residents involved in your care as well, but I felt I was in good hands with Dr. Nagle and the nurse practitioner on the ward overseeing things.rn I can't recommend this program enough, and although I'm a recent post-op I know that I have the foundation I need to continue to build upon the initial success I've already had, thanks to the team at Northwestern!
Dr. Nagle's staff and the entire Wellness center at Northwestern Memorial worked with me for over a year making sure my health was up to par for my impending surgery. Although I am only 2 weeks out I am soooo thankful with the kind & courteous manner that I was taken care of. I must also say kudos to the nurses, nurses in ICU, and the technicians. For beIng the most amazing and attentive people every, if you are having your surgery at Northwestern you are in good hands
