Before surgery i didn't have very much energy. My joints would hurt from getting up and walking around. Since surgery i feel better! My joins don't hurt when i walk! And i feel more energized! Dr. Sommer is very caring and supportive. He made me feel very comfortable throughout this journey- thank you Dr. Sommer.

I lived a life filled with anxiety due to my constant weight gain. I tried dieting, but i wasn't losing weight and nothing seemed to ever work. After surgery i felt lighter and more effective in losing weight. I am able to jog or walk on a treadmill without being exhausted. I had a very good experience with my doctors. Dr. Sommer answered all of my questions and has helped me stick to my diet. Thank you New York Bariatric Group.

Dr. Sommer and Dr.Garber performed the sleeve gascetomy on July 10,2013 @ Hudson Valley Hospital...Pre- surgery the team was awesome. They were nurturing and supportive. I loved the quality of service post -surgery. Bedside manners was excellent. Iam currently down 27lbs. I CAN HONESTLY SAY at no time did I ever feel pain. A little aoarnrss but definitely bareable. Aftertwo daya of bwing home I stop taking pain meds.. I feel forever grateful to the team.
