Eric Sommer is by far the best doctor. I had my weight loss surgery back on February 26th. He was so attentive and helpful when I had questions. He makes you feel very comfortable with him. And to me that's important to have that with a doctor. Means he's doing his job. I'm down close to 50lbs since having the surgery.

Dr. Sommer was great. Very attentive.

I am about a little over a month after my surgery and i couldn't be happier. I dealt with Dr Eric Sommer and he was with me every step of the way and still is post Surgery. I am down just about 50lbs already and the staff at NY Bariatric and Dr. Sommer have been nothing but helpful.

He Rescue to when another Dr. gave up on me, had many health problems before he took me on as a patient , in two years I went from 380 to 169lbs and now enjoying life thanks to Dr. Sommers and his team.

First of all this is a REAL review ! I would like to thank Dr Nikhilesh Sekhar for giving me my life back! After having my first appointment with The Dr. I was impressed with the office and him! I went into not knowing what having Gastro Surgery was and How this would benefit me? Well I got all the right answers from Dr.Nikhilesh Sekhar. He performed my Gastric Sleeve Surgery on 2-14-2015 and I was very impress with the total procedure and very satisfied. He will take as much time as needed to explain your medical condition and the full procedure. You will understand everything when he finishes explaining it to you. I would suggest him to any one. If you are looking for a good Dr. he is the one. He answers his e-mail great .In terms of listening skills, diagnostic and what’s best for you this will make you very happy and at ease! I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back. With-in the first two weeks I lost 12pounds. I have referred more of my friends to him. Thank you once again Dr. and thank your lovely staff!!

I am thrilled with my experience and results of my surgery with Dr. Somer. Surgery and expectations were explained exactly as they occurred. Dr. Somer genuinely seems happy for me at every weigh-in and all of the office personnel are helpful and friendly.

Dr Ballem did my lap band surgery on 4/1/2014. Since then unfortunately I have some ups and downs with my weight loss journey. Through it all Dr Ballem and his entire staff have been there for me, supporting me and encouraging me to not give up and continue on my journey. Dr Ballem is a great surgeon, very kind, compassionate and always very honest with his patients. The staff are also very kind, compassionate and always there for a quick pep talk if that's what you need or to encourage you to continue no matter what happens. I use fitness pal and the nutritionist from Dr Ballem's office helps by following me on this application and giving me weekly feedback and suggestions. She's been absolutely fantastic!
