Dr.Girstus is a wonderful Doctor and I would recomend him to anyone who neds an awsome Doctor and office that is wll educated in every aspect of lap banding..I am astonished at how well his office treats their patients as well as Dr. Girtisus. I had lap banding donr on feb 19th 07 and I am down 20 pounds ..today is march 1st07.. I am doing great. I will give my experience a 4 star and I am not even half way there yet...I wish every one could see the ( kind gentle and informative Dr. he is) Make an apt. for his eminars and find out.

He is a GREAT surgeon. His office staff is great. On my visits prior to the surgery no question I asked was dumb. He may me feel very at ease on my surgery date. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering weight loss surgery.

After my mom and i attended one of dr.g's siminars i was very impressed. He was so knowledgeable and really took his time explaining all the facts about wls, even my mom became interested. I went to my consultation about a week later. Dean and the entire staff was excellent. As of now my surgery is set for feb.12th. Hopefully i'll get an approval soon so that my surgery can be moved up. I'm so ready to join my sister in losing weight and hopfully losing some of the meds. that i'm currently on. I will keep you posted.

I first met Dr. Gritsus at one of his seminars. He was very professional and kind and was able to answer all of my questions. As I began to pursue my surgical options with him, my impression of him only continued to get better. His office staff are all very pleasant and motivating, and they handled my insurance company as well. I had attended several seminars and even though Dr. Gritsus is out of my healthcare network I still chose to go with him because I was comfortable with him and his staff and I believe he provides his patients with the highest level of care and compassion. His aftercare program is concise and includes monthly and weekly support groups, as well as monthly visits to track your progress. my surgery went smoothly with no complications and I healed very quickly. Overall I would say his services are among the best. I would recommend Dr. Gritsus to anyone who has had or is considering WLS.

Dr. Holover was extremely informative and personable from our first meeting. He put me at ease and answered all of my questions. He saw me everyday while I was in the hospital, made sure that I was comfortable and answered any questions or concerns that I had. Any questions that I have had since coming home have been answered very quickly by either Dr. Holover or Dr. Garber. Dr. Holover also participates in a monthly information session and support group, which is very informative. I would highly recommend Dr. Holover and NYBG to anyone looking for a surgeon in the NY area.rn

I met Dr. Cussatti for the first time on 7/7/06 upon recommendation of my PCP. My first impression of him is extremely positive. He takes great pride in the specialty of Laparoscopic Surgery. He seemed very compassionate to the needs of the bariatric patient; and was very straight forward with the actual procedure and potential complications. I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon.

I would highly recommend Dr. Garber to anyone considering Gastric Bypass surgery. Dr. garber was extremely informative and helpful from the first day I walked into his office. His staff is just as warm and caring as he is. Dr. Garber is an expert in his field and I am so happy he was recommended to me. I am now 2 years post op and Dr. Garber and his staff are still very involved in my medical care.
