Tracy Shannon had surgery oct 6, 2009, it was the best decision of my life....in reference to NYBG and the doctors and staff are all wonderful and helpful, no matter how big or small....i had lapband done in 2009, recovery was great, the pre surgical class that we have to attend at Mercy were very informative, Dr. garber is very caring and helpful, answered all the questions I had whether it was via email or a page as an emergency, he was there...I would absolutely recommend the office and the surgery....

i had surgery aug 2009, lapband procedure, I researched for lapband surgery and found Dr. garber who was a doctor close to home and very convenient....i had no pain from the surgery, which was laparoscopic...I would cpmletely recommend this procedure to any friends and family. The staff over all has been great , they make everything easy , as far as appointmnets, do not hesitate to make appts or call th eoffice with any questions...Dr Garber has been very great and professional , very calming.

I had surgery in 2009, i had gastric bypass..I would definately recommend the surgery, i felt like this is my last resort but doctor Garber and his staff made me feel completely at ease, I now realize that this was the best thing that I could do for myself.If you have battled weight loss issues like me, there is nothing better that you can do for yourself that Bariatric surgery.Thanks to Dr Garber and his caring staff it has changed my life....I would definately recommend this to anyone.

Pt previously had a failed lapband, with a previous surgeon, and felt let down, found our website, and surgeons...made a consultation, blessed to have found her way here to our office nybg group. Patient feels like she got her life back, he offered me solutions and expert advice that other surgeons have not offered, he has been there with me 100%..his staff as well. Nancy feels very at ease with out staff as well, feels a great support team here in our office.

I am interested in finding out more about lapband and gastric bypass surgery, I have found the NYBG group through friends, and cant wait to start my journey.I have received great feedback from their group.

Dr Holover and the entire office staff have been wonderful. The support group meetings led by Dr. Garber and Dr. Holover have also been so helpful in getting me ready for my upcoming surgery.

Dr. Holover is the most patient doctor I've ever dealt with.(and best looking too!) He answers & explains everything thoroughly. The office staff is also very pleasant & efficient. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

November 20, 2006 was MY DATE AND MY SURGEON IS THE BEST AS IS HIS STAFF AS WELL
almost 4 years later I am still a family member to Dr. Holover and Dr. Garber, Stephanie,Donna,Sharon, Jean ..it does not get better than NY Bariatric or its STAFF
