I HAD LAPBAND SURGERY MARCH OF 2009. I FOUND THE NYBG FROM MY PCP DOCTOR AND THROUGH THE OFFICE SEMINARS THEY HOST. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE SURGERY TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY,MY RECOVERY TIME WAS EASY AND I HAD NO ISSUES. DR HOLOVER IS VERY CONSIDERATE AND MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE HIS ONLY PATIENT, VER PERSONABLE.

I had lapband surgery over gastric bypass, in 2006.My overall experience with having surgery with NYBG office has been excellent. Dr .Hershon referred me to this office. Dr. Holover spent great time explaining the surgery to me, in detail. I would definately recommend family and friends to have weight loss surgery.
I would definately say the surgery changed my life and added years to my life to spend time and enjoy with my children, and everday life.

I hava had lapband surgery in Aug of 2009. I found Dr. Holover through the lapband website. My overall experience with having lapband surgery was great, recovery was a breeze, I was not on any pain killers, just advil...I would absolutely recommend surgery to any family members or co workers.

I have been interested in Bariatric Surgery. I heard there is a terrific group in New Hyde Park. I will be attending one of their free seminars.

I'll let you know. At this point I think Dr. Garber and staff are all wonderful. Surgery is scheduled for 6/14/10.

i definitely recommend Dr Garber to anyone who is looking for a bariatric surgeon. He is the BEST. I was back to work within a few days, little pain, very fast recovery...it was all amazing. I'd do it again! Dr Garber gave me a new life! I'm a new person!

Dr Garber is an excellent surgeon with outstanding bedside manor. I am very pleased with my decision in choosing him over other surgeons on LI/Manhattan. Once I read that his practice is rated #1 Bariatric practice in all of NY state, I was sold! They lived up to all my expectations! I could not be happier!

YOU ARE CRAZY NOT TO PICK DR GARBER! HE THE BEST, BR FAR!!!!!! THE ONLY SURGEON IN LONG ISLAND DOING SINGLE INCISION LAP BANDS! NO PAIN, NO SCAR!!!!!

I love this office! the girls at the front desk are nice, the PA is so sweet, and Dr Garber is amazing. I feel like i'm in the best hands and I am so happy to have picked this practice. I looked elsewhere, but no other doctor or practice had the experience or expertise that the New York Bariatric Group has.
