I would highly recommend Dr. Moazzaz. Both my husband and I had surgery done by Dr. Moazzaz, my husband had gastric sleeve and I had gastric bypass. Dr. Moazzaz not only has a wonderful bedside manner, he genuinely cares about his patients. The office staff at Blue Pointe Surgical group is very helpful and are all invested in your success as a patient. The pre op information is well set up, though I can't say I learned anything that I didn't know before. And the post care seems adequate, I've only had the one post op visit so far. I also really like the support group that they have once a month.

I had surgery on June 4th and it went beautifully. I needed to contact the PA after hours on the friday after surgery and the PA called back with in 30 minutes and was great. My question was more fear based then reality based and she really talked me through what I did and didnt need to worry about and how to avoid the pain I was feeling. They were really great to work with and I look forward to continuing my journey with them. I gave them a 4 only because I have not been post op very long. I really believe they have been a 5 so far and in a few more weeks plan to change the rating!

I can't even begin to describe how absolutely wonderful Dr. Moazzez, and Bluepoint Surgical Group in Fairfax, VA, have been to me. Dr. Moazzez always took the time to sit and talk, answer my questions, calm my fears, and NEVER rush me through an appointment. He remembered me each time, greeted me if I ran into him in the hallways of the office, and always made me feel like an important patient. Many people say surgeons have no bedside manner, and this is just not the case with Dr. Moazzez. He is simply the best doctor I've had. Not to mention, he is a top surgeon -- my incisions are barely noticeable at only three weeks out, my hiatal hernia fixed, my sleeve working perfectly -- he is truly the best of the best!

Bluepoint is made up of mostly women, all of whom are caring, competent, and determined to help each patient have a positive experience. As I battled my insurance company, went to numerous medical appointments, and even called with crazy questions post-op, they were with me every step of the way. I have a special place in my heart for the Office Manager, Pam Cunningham, who kept me looking up, even when things seemed down.

I highly recommend Dr. Moazzez and his practice. You won't be disappointed!

Today is my 7 year "Surgiversary"! I cannot believe 7 years have gone by so fast!! I truly believe that Dr. Amir Moazzez saved my life in more ways than one!!! I am just as happy today as I was 7 years ago...maybe even more!!!

Dr Moazzez and the whole team at Bluepoint surgical group were/are amazing! My whole experience has been thorough and well explained. The staff includes nutritionists, coordinators, exercise therapist, and behavior therapist just to name a few. They offer many different support groups at various locations! Dr Moazzez is kind, caring and most of all a great surgeon! I saw him everyday in the hospital and when I was having a problem with pain, it was immediately addressed! Tiffany is Dr Moazzez PA, and she is just as amazing! She is knowledgable, compassionate and accessible! I have called twice in the last 4 weeks and she is always prompt in talking with me and reassuring me. I honestly feel like I'm talking with a friend! Tiffany was also at the hospital checking on me as well and always made sure I was well taken care of. Dr Moazzez and Tiffany were and are my advocates and I can not speak highly enough of them.

Dr. Moazzez is very knowledgeable, patient, compassionate and confident. I had and have full confidence in his ability to work with me towards my long term weight loss goals. The program at Bluepoint Surgical Group is comprehensive and results in excellent outcomes for patients who complete and follow the guidelines. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Moazzez specifically.

I am having surgery with Dr. Moazzez in the very near future. I was referred to him by my primary care physician as someone that she would go to if she needed gastric bypass. I've only interacted with him on a limited scale (no pun intended!). A few meetings - initial consultation and then the pre surgical meeting. He was very patient and answered all my questions. He provided pictures of what would occur and made me feel positive about the surgery. His office staff are very professional and even though they are very busy - they know your name after the first visit. Because Dr. Moazzez is part of the Bariatric Center of Excellence program at Inova Fair Oaks, his procedures are very detailed. I would prefer if there were more meetings with him through the process but i understand he is a busy surgeon. The aftercare was emphasized as a key to success. The after care program is structured, however I have not been through it yet. As far as a pre surgery rating, I would give him a B+. That might change to a A+ after the actual surgery. Very professional and knowledgeable doctor. I would recommend this doctor to anyone considering RNY surgery. Surgery was flawless, for the most part, painless (with the exception of residual gas). I have no complaints and I am very happy with my results so far.

Dr. Moazzez is located at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He made this whole experience a dream for me. From the beginning to end... he was Professional, Honest and very Helpful in helping me to transition to my new lifestyle. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering bariatric surgery!

What a wonderful caring Dr. I can't say enough about my experience. It gave be back the fun I was missing with my grandchildren.
