Hamid Pourshojae, DO, FACS is a highly-skilled general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive, advanced laparoscopic weight loss surgery, and gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery at Inova Bariatric Surgery in Fairfax, Virginia.

He earned his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his general surgery residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital and an internship at Peninsula Hospital Center. Dr. Pourshojae is board-certified, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
