Hi, I want to start by saying I don’t usually write reviews unless they’re really good or really bad. Well, Dr. Nain is the best doctor that I have seen in a long time. I saw him in the hospital daily for over a month. I have followed up with him regularly. Dr. Nain has been honest, forthcoming and patient. He has literally saved my life. The bottom line: if you want a no -nonsense, competent, caring doctor go to his practice! I have lost 118 pounds and still going! Patrick K. 12-2018

What a horrible experience.

I went through the pre-surgery checklist with this firm, scheduled everything including the actual surgery date, made my $10,000 cash deposit as a self-pay patient, then two weeks before surgery date at the final pre-op appointment, Rajev Nain and his office informed me that there were two office (not hospital or insurance) requirements that I had not fulfilled. I hadn't been told about them, they recognized and admitted this, but they still wouldn't move forward with surgery or facilitate completion of these two relatively minor items.

This, after they sold me a a nonrefundable $300 pack of bariatric diet food not even 48 hours prior at another pre-op appointment. How convenient.

I should have seen the warning signs; the dismissive doctor who literally slunk away, the exercise consultant who insulted me within 15 seconds of meeting me, the receptionist devoid of any sign of personality. But I wanted this surgery and chose to ignore the warning signs of a completely incompetent, arrogant and aloof office.

I've gone with another surgeon and have had a wonderful experience there. You would be wise to do the same. If you take two things away from this review, understand that 1) you cannot trust the staff to exhibit a basic degree of competence, and 2) Rajev Nain believes with his whole being that his time is more important than yours.

Raj, your time is not more important than mine.

I had a good experience with Dr. Moazzez. Excellent doctor! I am very grateful to him for being well.

Excellent provider. Always informative, yet to the point, and takes the time to answer all my questions. These days, most providers would enter the room and aim to get out as soon as possible. Not Dr. Pourshojae, he takes his time, shows sincere care and concern.

My before surgery opinion is 5 stars. I feel very comfortable about having this procedure. I scheduled for May 18th. Hopefully, all goes well and I will post a post-op opinion.

Update 4/16/2015!

Wow, it's been over 8 years since my surgery. I'm still doing well. I'm at 147 lbs. I'd like to lose about 15 lbs. I'm working on it. My weight gain is due to an accident in which my foot was pretty much severed. So I've not been as mobile.I've since had my 6th surgery and hope that's the last. Now, I'm back up and active! I'm very please with the WLS tool. Many don't understand this concept, but this is a tool and we have to do our part to make it work. Having WLS isn't going to benefit you if you do not follow the the proper guidelines given to you. At any rate, I love Dr. Moazzez! He is a great doctor!

I had a lapband put in and once it was there the
problems began. I do not feel the issues I was experiencing were ever really taken seriously by Dr Moazzez. He ordered test after test and they all came back normal. My band was not stable from the day it went in and Dr. Moazzez was not able to stabilize it in almost 3 years. The non stop vomit and fallout left my body weak and malnourished but I truly believe he did not even notice. Having this done was a huge mistake and is one of my biggest regrets in life. The emotional toll it takes on you is tremendous but this doctor could not care less about that either. The band is out now and I say good riddance time it. I am nutritionally healthy once again and regret wasting 3 years of my life on this procedure.

I can't say enough about Dr. Moazzez and his staff at Blue Point Surgical. Its so hard to find a doctor who actually truly cares about his patients now a days, but him and his staff truly do! It seems like every doctor i go to now a days spends like 2 minutes with me before rushing out to the next patient. NOT Dr. Moazzez, he will sit down and answer EVERY question you have in full detail and will go through everything in complete detail. He will really put you at ease. Also I can't say enough about his staff, everyone from the dietician/nutritionist, the nurses, strengthening coach, to the office staff, especially Pam. She is the one who handles everything basically. She is very friendly and very approachable. She will answer any questions you have and really cares! You can always reach her, and anytime i left a message with her, she ALWAYS returned my call within 10 minutes. It is very rare to find a doctor who cares, but its unheard of now a days to find a doctor and an entire staff who cares, but you do with Blue Point Surgical Group. They are top notch from top to bottom!

Dr. Nain has a wonderful and pleasant bedside manner. He is helpful in keeping it real and keeping you focused without overwhelming you. He's an excellent surgeon. The whole program at Blue Point Surgical Group is excellent. They are all well trained and efficient and very responsive to all questions, issues, etc.
I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about the Bluepoint Surgical Group and Dr. Moazzez. I was very hesitant about having gastric bypass surgery, but the Bluepoint team made everything as easy as possible. I was always able to get an appointment when necessary, the preauthorization process was seamless and Dr Moazzez and his staff were extremely competent and friendly. Dr. Moazzez is an excellent surgeon who seems to really care about his patients. After my surgery, I have seen his PAs (especially Tiffany) and they are great-- always listening carefully to any concerns and acting immediately rather than waiting for problems to worsen.
