I liked Dr. Paul Lin. Everyone in his office was so caring and understanding of my needs. He is located one block from metro station. Parking in the building was $15 for a little over 2 hrs.(This is based on consultation. I will update after surgery.)

Dr Lin was wonderful. I met with another Dr in his practice first, then Dr Lin came in. He was not rushed and very positive in his manner with me.rnrn He was very open with how the surgery would go, that if he ran into problems with the Lap, it would be open with no hesitation on his part. He was upfront with what my expectations should be with the whole surgery. The thing I really liked was that he explained his reasonings with everything he told me. rnrnHis staff has been very helpful with any question or problem i might have. I have my final pre-op appt on Oct 2nd.

I met with Dr. Lee yesterday and really liked her. She is very personable and really cares about you and your struggles and truly desires to help you live a better life. Even though she was running very late because of a trauma surgery she was called into, I never felt she was trying to rush me and answered all of mine and my husbands questions.rnrnHer office staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable about weight loss and the types of tests and requirements that could be required. rnrnOne of the things I most liked was that she wants life long aftercare, at least once a year after the first year. During the first year I will see her once every other week for three months, then every three months for the rest of the year and probably every six months for the 2-3 years. They will run full blood work during each visit starting at three months to make sure you are not starting to get deficient in any areas.

The first thing that I would like to say about Dr Brody is that he is great. When I first met him and told him what I would like to do he didn't try to talk me out of it like this other surgeon that I went to see. He gave me a play by play about how the whole surgery would go. All of the questions that I asked he answered them with much confidence which tell me that he knows what he is doing. I am not sure about his staff because I really haven't meet them only his assistant. She seems nice but is about business. If you don't have the paperwork you can forget about getting an appointment or a date. Over all I think that Dr Brody is great and I am looking forward to him doing my surgery.

Dr. Lee is a sweet and gentile person, and recongnizing the fact that she too is a human being. You might notice that she's young but she's also a brilliant surgeon. Dr. Lee came to see me every day after my surgery in the hospital and was always available. Words cannot truly praise her enough.

Dr.Lin was very plesant and nice as well as his assistant. He explained everything to me in the fullest and was very patient with any questions I had and anything that I didn't understand. At one point we weren't on the same page as of what surgery percedure he thought would be best for me but he picked that up and led me in the right direction by explaining to me about the laparoscopic insted of lap band which I thought he was talking about. In all I felt very comfortable with him.I would like to say he has very pleasant staff every time I call I'm satisfied with the response I receive.

Dr. Lin is very nice. He took the time to answer all of my questions. He's very thorough and will be sure to look for things that need to be checked out before your surgery so that you can have the safest surgery possible.

The office staff is good. The office area is average. He does have an aftercare program, but I haven't been to it yet. Dr. Lin went over all of the risks with me and made sure that I don't have unrealistic expectations. He stresses that you have to use the surgery as a tool and how successful you are is up to you.

I liked his bedside manner and he is an excellent surgeon. I feel very safe with him performing my operation.

Dr. Paul Lin, on my first meeting, impressed me as a very smart doctor. You know, the kind of doctor that you know is thinking ahead and watching all the small details.

I was right, because on our second meeting, he advised me that he wanted a series of test done to make sure I would have success during and after my surgery. Due to my physical history of blood clots, he wanted me to get an intravenous filter. I found him to be cautious, but not to the point of paralysis. He is both compationate, confidant, professional and extremely compedent. Dr. Lin is very serious minded, with a "right to business" type personality.

Both Dr. Lin and his staff have provided me with the tools for success. I trust him with my life.

Prepare for long waits in the waiting room to see the Doctor.

Now, two weeks before surgery I was put on optifast to help shrink the fat around my liver. I was given all my perscriptions for pre and post op so that I wouldn't have to care for that at the 11th hour. I was educated on their aftercare support group.

I will have my surgery on May 2nd...more news to follow. But, thus far, Dr. Lin is phenominal and I am so fortunate to have him caring for me.

I just met with Dr. Lin and my first impression or him is I thought he was really nice. He talked with my husband and myself. He gave us straight eye contact and you can tell he has a lot of knowledge because of how he spoke with us. I have not had surgery yet but how Dr Lin was in his office I am assuming that his bedside manner is even better.
