I met Dr Curry and his staff for the first time on 6/16/07 and they were running behind so I didnt have much time to spend with him. They were in the process of moving. From my first impression, everyone seemed very friendly and down to earth and I know I will be in good hands.

I have never met a doctor like Dr. Curry. He is so personable. He treats you as if he has known you his whole life. Any questions or concerns that you have, he will answer. He even has a message board that you can chat with him on. He will respond almost immediately. His whole staff does that. I have not had my surgery as of yet, but he makes you feel so comfortable and reassurred about the whole process. I definitely recommend Dr. Curry if you are looking into getting weight-loss surgery. He's great! I am looking forward to being banded by him. rnrnSo far, as of yet, I have found no negative aspects of Dr. Curry or his team. They have been so good to me.

Well I have had my 2nd consultation with Dr. Curry on 5/22/07. He is wonderful and so is all of his staff. I look forward to beginning this journey with them on my side.

I'm a paitent of Dr C's, need I say more?? He and his staff are and have been great to me in the past 2 1/2 years. I don't think there is a better surgeon out there.

I am looking forword to meeting him and his staff. I have contacted them through email several times and they are very helpful.

I am very happy to have found Dr. Curry. I have never had a doctor who makes themself so available to his patients. You email, call or post on his forum and you get an answer even on the weekends. Dr. C is very down to earth in the way he speaks to me - everything is explained in simple terms that anyone could understand. rnrnI feel like I have team support from everyone in his office, we all have the same goal in mind getting me healthy. rnrnI give Dr. C and his staff a big gold star because they are indeed super stars.rnrn

After visiting four info sessions for different surgeons and hospitals, and then checking the surgeon profile site, my husband and I decided that most patients seemed to really like Dr. Curry. At the info session, Dr. Curry answered all questions to my satisfaction and seemed very generous with everyone. I had been researching for a year so I pretty much knew about the procedures offered. I just wanted to get a sense of how each surgeon I saw would be as far as his bedside manner. Dr. Curry won out. He was informative with the right mix of science/layman talk. He knew his stuff and could expain it to simple folk like me. His office staff is very efficient and forth-coming with the answers to any questions I had. This office does, however, seem to push the lap-band procedure and had to ask whether rny was an option or not. After discussing with Dr. Curry some of the unique physical situations I have, he decided that I would be a better candidate for rny. His staff was great with getting my insurance approved. I only waited about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks for approval through UnitedHealthCare.

My first impression of Dr. Curry was that he was a great surgeon.. he answered all my questions honestly and was very direct. My impression of Dr. Curry has changed somewhat over time... I actually did not realize how accessible Dr. Curry and his staff would be to me after surgery. I can call anytime of day or night and talk to a staff member... I am really impressed by this.. It takes dedication to be available to patients in this manner. Most offices you call and get a message to call during business hours. The office staff is great, I can call and talk to them during business hours and they are always helpful and pleasant. If anyone is considering WLS.. Dr. Curry is an awesome surgeon. Aftercare is emphasized a great deal... you will meet with your dietican everytime you see Dr. C and also there is a mandatory class you will take about nutrition. Dr. Curry did address completly the risks of surgery with me prior to my signing the consent. Dr. Curry has a great bedside manner and his surgical competence is impressive. If anyone is considering WLS.. your surgeon is soooo important, and Dr. Curry is an excellent choice. I am thankful I found Dr. C and his staff.

Surgery went like clock work. Totally professional and willing to answer all questions. The whole process could not have gone any better. Would do it again in a minute. Dr. Curry and his staff were the best people to work with I have ever encountered. I just can't say enough about Tracy and the dealings with the insurance co. and the willingness of Dr. Curry to help in every step of the process. Erin and Charity, exceptional people.

My first impression of Dr. Curry, was will he care about me personally? And not just money. This changed after a few visits. He is a kind man that takes his job as Dr, and friend.rnrnHe worries about you if a problem is present and are you doing what he asks of you. They have a very structured plan, with diet tips and support help.rnrnI would not say there is nothing I'd say bad about his practice. He addressed all the risk and made sure I understood everything. He asked many times did I have questions.
