My experiences with Dr. Curry's office has been great. They have been very supportive and helpful. They are also VERY quick to respond to calls when you are having problems.
I am 5 days post-op, so my memories are fresh. Dr. Curry and his staff are highly recommended. Every single person in the office makes you feel welcome. Having a banded nutritionist is unique as well, because she has been through what you're going to go through. There are many more practices in the Cincinnati area who spend a great deal of money and time advertising, trying to build the business. That is clearly where their emphasis lies. However, Dr. Curry's practice is growing by good old fashioned \"word of mouth.\" His emphasis is the patient... our success is his success.
Dr. Curry is very knowlegeable and to the point. He is very likeable and approachable. Whenever I have a question, I email Dr. C, and I have always received a response within the same day! The staff is super! Erin is supportive with nutritional advice. Charity is always very supportive with a hello and a smile! I felt safe with Dr. C's surgical competence!
Absolutely awesom surgeon. The entire practice is centered around the patient being successful. Everyone is quick to respond to questions via phone or email.rnVery caring environment.rn
Dr. Curry impressed me from the moment I met him. His staff was helpful but not as informed as I would expect, or possibly just vague because they want the doctor to answer all questions. The thing that put me most at ease was his calm confidence . also the fact of just how many lap band surgeries he has done and his successes. He let me see a video of the surgery on my first visit and it was really amazing, I am 2 days post-op and feel much better than I had ever imagined. The dietician on Dr. Curry\"s staff is amazingly patient and helpful. I would highly recommend this group to all interested in lap-band surgery. Thank You!!! Lisa Herman
Dr. Curry and his staff are the best!!! Period. I might have looked at another surgeon here in town, but went to Dr. C's seminar first. After I found the OH site and saw the glowing reviews of him, I knew I needed to look no further. He's very experienced, has a fantastic after-care program and super responsive staff. They make sure all your questions are answered and you understand the commitment required on your part. That he answers questions here on OH for WLS patients that aren't his, that speaks a lot to his dedication that all patients be successful in their program.
I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Dr. C and his staff. He is completely honest and seems to want the best for everyone. I mean everyone!! He replies to posts on OH even if it is not one of his patients. He seems to really care about what he does. It's a Holiday weekend and I sent the nutritionist and him an email with some questions and they both responded back! I was not expecting a response until the next business day. I am a newbie to the aftercare, but I can't imagine it being bad. I have read posts from people who are a year post-op asking questions that I have learned the answers to pre-op. Of course I will have questions as time goes on but I am confident that I can call or email and will have a prompt response. I could go on and on....Thanks Dr. C and Staff!

Dr. Curry's seminar was the 3rd Dr. I had been to, and was very impressed with both him and his staff. Made an appointment the very next day. Was very happy with my choice of Dr. His whole staff seemed very competent and really interested in helping me on this journey. They were very busy, as I am sure they always are, but I did not feel rushed at all. They emphasize aftercare, and that my work will determine the success of the surgery. This is not a get thin quick surgery. His competence to me is much more important than his bedside manner, although that appears to be very good as well. While the whole process seemed very daunting to me at first, after my first appointment, the entire staff made is seem that they would take care of everything as long as I did my job. Would recommend him to anyone thinking of this surgery!
