Very easy to talk to.rnOffice staff very helpful and accessible.rnAfter care is very important and covered in great detail through literature, accessibility via phone/internet e-mail.rnAdvantages and risks of surgery were all covered in the informational session.rnThus far, I would rate Dr. Curry very high. This includes his staff as well.rnSurgical competence is most important. I am coming from 4 hours away to have him perform my surgery. His bedside manner is an added plus.

Dr. Curry is the best! He is very knowledgable and was able to answer any questions I had. He is always available for any questions you might have. His office staff is also the best! There are a few that have the Band so they know from first hand experience what you are going through. I would definately recommend Dr. Curry to anyone in the Cincinnati area, he is the best!

Dr. Curry is knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer any and all questions either in person, on the phone, or via email. The office staff are awesome! They are very patient and listen fabulously!!

My first impression of Dr. Curry was that he just wasn't very caring. i thought he was going to be a cold doctor. I have come to find out that Dr.Curry is very caring and compassionate towards his patients. He made sure that before surgery he stopped by my room to make sure i was doing okay and answer any last minute questions i had. he also made sure to ease my fears before he left. I love all of his staff they make sure that they focus on your needs as an individual and not just treat your concerns and problems the same as someone elses.

Right now I have only met Dr. Curry twice but I have no complaints about him. His staff is very personable and most have had surgery so they can really give a true account of what to expect. He has a brand new office in Evendale, Ohio. rnrnOne thing that impressed me about him is his caring personality. When I had my EGD done he was running late. When he arrived I could tell he came directly to me in the procedure room, appologized with brief case and jacket in hand and asked how I was doing. I never met a doctor that will appologize let alone come in a rush directly to me. He won big brownie points that day. rnrnI really do not want to rate him yet because I am still in the waiting process. I will update as I progress....

My surgeon is Dr. Curry! What an awesome man and great doctor. I think he has the best staff in the world and everyone works together to really help. They make a difference.rnrnDr. Curry helped me when my lap band failed. He didn't put it in, it was done in Mexico but when I had problems, I had BIG problems. He stepped right in and helped me get through it. Even when the lap band failed for me, he jumped in to help again. rnrnMy plan is the have the RNY surgery soon, with Dr. Curry's help. I know I will be in good hands.rnrnThanks Dr. Curry! What an awesome man!!!

I have an advantage over most people in that I work with Dr Curry at Deaconess Surgical Weight Loss Center. I can't say enough positive about Dr Curry. He is very good at what he does. He is not only an excellent surgeon but he is a kind and caring man. He truly cares about his patients and about people in general. I highly recommend him to anyone thinking of having the surgery. My first impression of Dr. Curry was that he was a that he was very intelligent and diligent man. I just had my first consult with him on 07/26/07 and I hope over time I continue to build a good rapport w/him and his staff. Dr, Curry's office staff was very nice and approachable. Everyone seemed to be very comforting and comfortable towards every patient, thus far. I wish Dr. Curry was a jokster like myself, but then again I appreciate the fact of knowing that he is very intelligent and serious about his job. Future patients should know that Dr. Trace Curry is a very intelligent/serious man, and he understand that this type of surgery is life changing, and he takes this type of medical procedure very serious, which means he doesn't have time for games since someone's life will ultilmately be in his hands. Since this was my first consult we didn't throughouly discuss aftercare, deeming I already knew much about the procedure, and the fact that I need to get the beforecare down packed first. I also knew a previous patient of his and he has also given me great advice and how to prepare for such a life altering event. However, knowing that they still remember post-op patients made me feel extremely comfortable that his entire staff remembers all their patients, like extended family. I am sure I will continue to see Dr.Curry even months-years after my procedure has been done to make sure I am keeping up with use of my tool. Dr. Curry strongly empasized the risk of surgery. He also honestly old me his ratio of mortality rates, which was very low, and I am very glad to hear this. At this current time I would rate Dr. Curry an 9.2 on a scale of 10. Although, I hope my feeling towards him change after surgey so that I can rate him a 10 out of 10! Both bedside manner and surgical comptence are important factors, but Surgical competence overrules perfect bedside manner. As long as Dr. Curry has excellent surgical competence and mediocre bedside manner I would be satified w/my results!

My first impression of dr curry: he is caring and understanding and very personable. He answered all of my questions and concerns..I did not feel rushed and he explained everything. Im very glad I did my research, I feel I have found the best surgeon and staff. The entire office is superb, i cant say enough about them. The entire staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I would and have recommended them.

Dr. Curry is wonderful. He will answer your e-mails promptly and PERSONALLY. He is the first doctor that I have ever had to do this.rnHis staff is fantastic and always willing to help you. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have gastric surgery.
