Very professional, likable and informed.

No, continue to be very comfortable. They were very cordial and helpful.
I have always been treated with respect and care.
He always pushed for time.

Talk to him and ask questions. He's great about anwsering all your concerns.
Has scheduled many appointments and expects you to follow through.
Suggests you join a Support Group.

Gave all information good and bad.

He's a 10 all the way.

His bedside is good but the surgical is the greatest. That is the reason I chose him!

I have had a great experience with Dr. Ringold. He is very knowledgeable. I hope that everything goes well with surgery.

I had a very positive impression of Dr. Lane when I met him for the first time. He explained everything in great detail, and answered every question that I came in with before I even had a chance to ask it! Since that time, my opinion of him has grown even more positive. He is terrific about giving me his undivided attention during appointments, and he has been very encouraging and supportive, even going so far as to call me personally after hours when I was having a lot of nausea and vomiting. Most importantly, I truly feel that Dr. Lane LISTENS to me - I have never at any point felt that he was too busy, or that he was condescending or dismissive. In my opinion, Dr. Lane is an exceptional doctor, and I would reccommend him to anyone who is contemplating this surgery. I also found most of his office staff to be pleasant and helpful, although I did experience one unpleasant phone conversation with the nurse on phone duty who was dismissive and condescending to me regarding my diet post surgery. As it turns out, she happened to be wrong, and the problems that I was having were not caused by my diet, but rather by a stricture. I learned a valuable lesson that day, and I now make sure to address my concerns to Dr. Lane if I do not receive satisfaction from my contact with the nurse.

Upon my first consultation with Dr.Snow I was very nervous. As soon as I met him, my mind and racing heart were put to ease. He is such a down to earth and caring man. He answered every question with honesty and to the point, without misleading. The staff have been nice and helpful. They don't look down on you or make you feel uncomfortable. They make you feel normal. The only thing I didn't like is that you don't get to see him as often as I would like, except with the group meetings to ask questions. He explained every possible complication and what we could do to help prevent them, and the causes of each one. So far, I would recommend anyone to this office. I will update after my surgery.

At first, I was really nervous, But he and his staff were great!! He was very informative and made sure that I completely understood what he was saying about what was going to take place and what the risks are, ect. He was very straight forward(I enjoyed that). Everyone in his office made me feel very comfortable and helped me in every way that they could. My husband was with my at my appointment and Dr. Weinstein gave him the same respect.(Some doc's will almost ignore the family member with you, but he made a point to speak to my husband and make sure that he understood too.)So far I am completely impressed and WILL be telling friends about him!!

I have just made my consult appointment with Dr. Snow. My appointment is Oct. 11,2004. I will let you know the rest on the 11th.

Dr. snow, and his staff is awesome, they are helpful, busy, concerned, and just great. I have nothing bad to say about any of them.

Dr.Snow has been doing this for a very long time, has operated on 20,000, give or take some, 2%, loss, which is nice.
he is honest, and straight forward when it comes to care, aftercare, risk of the surgery. it is very important that you follow every little detail that you docture tells you, because it could save your life, help you keep that nasty weight off, and better your health.

I rate Dr. Snow and his staff 100 plus. and his surgial compentence and bedside manner seems to be great. I would refer any one to him.

He and his colleagues have so many clients that after a while you sometimes feel like just another number. But he has been doing the surgery for over 20 years.
He puts alot of stress on aftercare and eating.

He points out that there are always risks with any surgery.

My first impression of Dr Snow is that he was compassionate. He is very invovled with your outcome. He gave me time, when I had my appointment with him. He was very thorough. He has a good bedside manner. He's a joker, which helps. He's also got a lot of spunk. Which is always great to have because he'll keep ya on your toes. The office staff was great for the most part. I spoke with Carol on the day of my appt, and signed what she said I needed to sign. I spoke with Mary who deals with the insurance the day after my appt, said that she had everything she needed. Sent all my stuff to insurance that day. This office is able to get precertication online. There was nothing that I didn't like at this point in time. They have what's called a BEGIN program which you'll need to do before surgery. I think it's an excellent structured program for this type of surgery. He discussed every aspect that could come up with about complications that should arise from the surgery and what he does to try and not let that happen. I would rate him a 10. I believe surgical competence is more important, and luckily with Dr. Snow you get both. Keep in mind that every one is different, and what one personality you might like might not be the same for others. But this is my honest opinion, in how I felt about this doctor and this office.

My first impressions are positive. Since I have not actually had my surgery yet, I cannot give a great deal of information. Dr. Weinstein's staff has been very helpful in all dealings with them. They even went to bat for me with the insurance company when I was initally denied coverage for surgery. They have a very detailed procedure for educating their patients about surgery and aftercare. I will have to post more after surgery.
