Dr. Quioco had performed surgery on several of my family members over the years and that's how I initially met him. He was very honest and straight forward with me during my consultation and explained the risks fully. His office staff was very helpful and efficient and was prompt in submitting the proper paperwork to my insurance company. Patients should know he's very serious about his job, and doesn't laugh and joke around.....he's all business. You constantly hear of people who die due to gastric bypass surgery and you just brush it off and don't think it is serious. From first hand experience, I almost did. After two unsuccessful surgeries I was discharged after three weeks of hospitalization with a \"leak\". Dr.Quioco did not want to risk putting me to sleep a third time, so I was discharged with a jpeg and a leak that was to heal on its on and massive abdominal infection. I had this drain and a healing leak, along with a picc line for all my antibiotics as well as nutritional feedings for 2 1/2 months!

My first consultation with Dr. Quioco told me alot about him. He is very upfront, and professional. He answered each and every question I had, and was truthful about it all. He is very dedicated to his work, and helping people. I am very glad I chose him to help me along this journey.

The surgeon was great wonderful. My impression of him was he cared about me and my pain. The staff were all great and hlepful. It was a long drive for us over 9 hours one way from Florida but I would do it again. I was told about all the risks from the doctor and was encouraged to wait. He is the best and was there for all my calls and concerns. He called be back everytime I called him. I called me at home to check on me and to make sure I didn't need anything. I would give him an overall 10 for his work. He gave me my life back!

The Physcian was very straight up.Told you what could and will happen. He was very nice and good bed side manner. His staff very helpfull. Hope every thing will go as well as the consult did.

Dr Quioco is a warm and charming man. He puts you at ease and is very professional. He has been doing this surgery for over 30 years and is an expert in the field. I trust and respect him. I give him a 10!

Promt to schedule appointment and get information packet out to me. Everyone else has nothing but good to say about him, so we shall see after my consultation on September 1st.

Dr. Quioco and his staff were excellent. He took his time and talked not only to me but also to my family about the risks of the surgery. I saw Dr.Quioco for nine months before I got a surgery date, he wanted me to loss some weight on my own. At the time I got frustarated because I couldn't seem to lose any weight or I would lose 30 pounds and then go back up. But in hindsight, I am glad that he had the wisdom to get me prepared for life after surgery. He gave me tips for changing my lifestyle, and they were very easy to follow. After my surgery because of the preplanning that was done, I adjusted very well.
