Carolina Surgical Associates Bariatric Center
I felt he was professional, friendly, nonjudgemental. I liked that about him. My judgement has not changed of him. His staff is just as professional and nice. I like everything about my doctor. My doctor is well recommended in this town. I would recommend him to anyone. Aftercare is very inmportant to my doctor. His aftercare program is excellent. The risk of surgery was fully explained to me and I went forward with the surgery. I would highly recommend him. Both are great.
He is well trained and highly professional. He explained everything to me in detail, the goods, the bads, and the uglies about the open RNY procedure. He has a beautiful bedside manner and is so supportive and understanding. Everyone in his office was sensational. They are truly a marvelous
"support team"!! His WLS nurse is Angie and she, too, is a real guardian angel. She has done her homework and can advise WLS patients as good as anyone I have ever seen. They all have a "caring" spirit! My hat is off to them..God Bless Them for what they do!

"Dr.O" seems to be a very pleasant man. He was very easy to talk to and very open to questions. I feel good about my decision to see him for this surgery.

Dr. O's office let me down with the pursuit of my insurance company. Dr. Anderson's team picked up the ball and got me approved. He is a definate cutie-pie and very nice. I feel that he has the experience and ability to do this surgery.
11/16/01 I am now a post-op and can not speak highly enough of Dr. Anderson. He was a great surgeon who didn't cut corners. He is very detail oriented and doesn't have the attitude you would expect from a surgeon. I was able to joke with him and he would throw the jokes back at me. His nurse Angie Kriss is an angel. She came to the hospital everyday to check on me and has been a dear friend. I can't believe there could be a finer team doing bariatric surgery.
1)he was straight forward in the consultation he told me the good and the bad.. it was up to me to decide... (i did)
2)it never did.. i was tired of being FAT.. AND THIS WAS MY WAY OUT CAUSE DIETS WASNT HELPING I WOULD LOSE THE WEIGHT BUT GAIN IT RIGHT BACK PLUS MORE
3)PLEASANT AND VERY CARING.. THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY.. NOT A STRANGER..
4)THAT HE WAS MARRIED... JUST JOKING...(BUT HE IS VERY HANDSOME).. NOW THATS THE TRUTH
5)THAT HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU AND BE VERY UP-FRONT AND TRUTHFUL WITH YOU... IT IS SCAREY BUT SO IS BEING OVER-WEIGHT...
6)HE STRESSES IT VERY VERY STRONGLY.. JUST FOLLOW HIS DIRECTION AND YOU CANT GO WRONG...
7)YES
8)HE TOLD ME THAT YES I WAS A CANDIDATE FOR THE SURGERY BUT I KNEW THAT ANYWAY CAUSE WHEN I DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH SURGERY I HAD MY MIND MADE UP ANYWAY NO MATTER WHAT THE RISK WAS I WAS TIRED OF BEING FAT
9)HE IS GREAT ON A SCALE THERE IS NO #
10)BOTH..YOUR LIFE IS IN HIS HANDS WHEN HE IS PERFORMING SURGERY IN YOU AND I KNOW IN MY HEART OF ALL HEARTS THAT HE IS DOING HIS BEST TO HELP US MORBID OBESE PEOLPLE TO LIVE A BETTER LIFE AND FUNCTION BETTER IN A PREDIJUSTICE SOCIETY FOR OBESE PEOLPE
Dr. Anderson is a wondeful surgeon. He is someone conservative and extremely cautious, but I believe that is to his patients' benefit. His office staff was extremely helpful and timely in arranging the surgery.
If you select him as your surgeon be prepared for him taking as many precautions as possible. Although I am seeing him for aftercare checkups there is no followup program in this area which makes it difficult. He reviewed the risks of the surgery with me repeatedly. His surgical competence is much better than his bedside manner. I would recommend his surgical skills to anyone.
