I like Dr. Drew a lot, he is very caring and willing to listen and make good choices for his patients.

i REALLY LIKE DR. RAYMOND DREW, I HAVE NOT HAD MY SURGURY YET. SO FAR SO GOOD. EVERYONE AT THE DOWN BARIATRIC-ST. JOESEPHS HOSPITAL ARE SO AWESOME POLITE, FREINDLY, HELPFUL,RESPECTFUL. ETC. THEY HAVE BEEN SO THUROUGH.

My first impression of Dr. Schwartz was is calming presence. He is sincere and caring. The staff at HealthEast Bariatric Center is top notch. Clearly Dr. Schwartz and his team have put together a wining approach and it is amazing the support they give you every step of the way!

What a kind man Dr Drew is. The whole group of HealthEast Bariatric is a very caring group. Dr Drew explained everything right before the actual surgery and gave me some very good advice regarding my gallbladder. He excels in competence and bed side manner. He even came in to check on me that evening and.......the next day of check out. You couldn't go wrong!

Surgical competence and bedside or office visit manner excellent. 15+ years of experience, a structured aftercare program and caring office staff have all made this experience (so far) a breeze.

Dr. Drew was a pleasure to meet with. He answered all of my technical questions, and even went above and beyond and told me other ways to do a specific part of the surgery and told me how he does it so I could compare. He spent a little more than an hour and a half with me. I never felt rushed or that I was asking too many questions.rnrnPost-OprnDr Drew was great all the way through the whole process. He walked with us to the OR and was there the whole time. He has a great demeanor and is an excellent skilled surgeon. I was well taken care of on his written orders, minimal pain/discomfort. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Schwartz is a great surgeon but no bedside manner whatsoever. He doesn't want to be bothered after surgery that is for sure. Meaning when you get home from surgery. I feel great but I guess I would have chose someone else.

I absolutely love my surgeon, Dr. Michael Schwartz. I had my surgery on September 10 and am doing wonderful! He was able to do it without opening me up, something I really thought would have to happen! He was so kind and gentle, while also stern and strict with me through this process.rnrnHe has allowed me enough time in all of this to really learn about myself and to make the changes that I had to to make this a complete success. I feel so super and the weight is just falling off. I am exercising almost every single day and I feel super! rnrnI love the fact that he and his team will follow me for life and they have a very comprehensive and supportive, and strict, program. It will definitely keep me on track for the rest of my life. rnrnI would say that surgical competence and bedside manner are both very important and Dr. Schwartz has them both. He is very strict and you see that first, but he balances it with kindness and compassion. He is strict as he wants to make sure you are serious and can do this.

Dr. Schwartz is direct and to the point. He is compassionate and caring and a positive thinker. He genuinely cares about the well-being of the patient and wants you to succeed. He helped me get through the complications I experienced and didn't hesitate to see that I received the best care possible. I would recommend him without qualification. Minneapolis Bariatric Surgeons is a great group with a very complete program for bariatric patients.
