Sally, Im not very good at words, or having the right thing to say. But want you to know that your post that I read today (12/28/02) touched my heart. Im thinking and praying for you and hope things look up for you. If you feel as though this was some sort of test, I would have to say......"GIRL YOU ARE A STRONG PERSON AND SURVIVED WITH FLYING COLORS!!" Keep your head up and think positive. Things will fall into place and you'll be living life once again. God Bless you and Best Wishes!!

Congratulations! It seems as though we share the same month for surgery. Good luck on road you are about to travel and my wish for you is a fast and speedy, trouble free recovery. Keep this quote in mind. "If you can imagine it you can be it. If you dream it you can become it!"

Sally, I think of you often and the struggle you have had to get this surgery. I too was disappointed that it had to be rescheduled. You are almost there...the thing you have been working for the past year is going to happen...you just need to hang on. You must know that so many of us are reading your posts, and waiting for your surgery date. I can only imagine how you must feel, however about 20 years ago I struggled with depression and thoughts of wanting to just give up. Somehow I got through this and you will too. There are so many of us pulling for you. When you forget that we all care for you please look at your e-mails or surgery page to remember all of us. Hang in there, your day is just around the corner. Sally, our dates are the same! It feels like it will never get here. I am so tired of all the pain with each step and all the things I cannot do, but it really is only 12 days and a wake up!!! Like you, I sit and think of the things I used to do for others that I now depend on others to do for me and it is unthinkable that this has happened. BUT by this time next year, things will once again be the way the should be! Glory to God for providing us with this opportunity!!! As always, you are in my prayers. Merry Christmas, my WLS sister! Sally, I just started my WLS journey in November. I read your profile today and was very moved. You are an amazing woman! I've read some other comments, and I agree that you have a gift for writing. Keep a positive attitude, Jan 2 will be here before you know it. You are in my prayers, I know things will be fine. Have faith!God Bless.
