Hi Sally - wishing you a date soon for your surgery, hang on in there girl - you have suffered so much and you must know that all this suffering is not for nothing. Yet again, when i read your email i was crying for you and all of our brothers and sisters who are obese, you are truly gifted in how you can put into words all you have endured. As i have said before to you, you must get this weight story published, warts and all, as it would be a crying shame for others not to know what obesity can do to someone's quality of life. You have the words, you have the courage, and the year 2003 will be your year. May God bless you on this special journey. love

Sally may God be with you on your rebirth day. I know that God will be there with you every step of the way. I pray that God will guide the surgeons hands and that you have a pain and complication free surgery. You will never know what an insperation you have been in my life just from your post. God Bless

Sally--you are in my prayers--you deserve this surgery as much as the rest of us--I'm praying that you hear today that you'll be going in Thursday!! I know it's hard to worry about the vent, but try not to dwell on it. Think about how much better life is going to be, what you'll be doing this time next month, in 6 months, next year...you'll do great! We're all pulling for you! Monica

Sally~~Best of luck and best of health to you. I read your profile page with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. I feel much the same way you do. You will come through this just fine. Everything will be soooo worth it once you are on the "other side". Hang in there, sweetie, it will all be over soon. SanDee

i love ya sally and you've been a true inspiration to me. this site has brought us all together to find ourselves again, to help each other fight, to know what true family means, and to stand by each other. i know you've taught me to be a stronger person and it will come back to you. i can't wait for your new beginning!!! blessed be~

Hi Sally, I've been following your story and needless to say, you definitely deserve this surgery. Before my surgery I experienced some of your problems, maybe not to the same extent, but was exceedingly miserable in my life. Since 10/29 my life has changed so much for the better and I sincerely hope and pray these changes can be realized for you too. You are in my prayers. Good Luck. Janet Beall
