Hi Sally please, please do not worry about what anyone else thinks - although i would imagine that most people would just want to wish you well no matter what you decide. It is your decision so go with what you think is right for you - you may feel on tuesday that you should go ahead - or you may feel the same - whatever, i will say a prayer for you - just do what is best for you - and dont worry about having to email people - we understand - just remember you are special and are loved for you alone - whatever you decide. Sally, As all the other posters have stated -- you have to be comfortable with your decision. It is your decision, no one elses and you have to decide what is best for you. Everyone is rooting for you because we care about you, your decision will not stop us from caring. You asked for signs before and received them (I got chills reading about that). I know that if you ask for the His peace, help and comfort in making this final commitment, you will be answered (whatever His answer is). I pray for your peace and comfort and that you may feel His spirit with you.

Sally, as I sit here and say my extra special prayer for you, I am asking Jesus to calm your fears and lead you to make the right decision for you. You said it yourself the last time your surgery date was cancelled, "I'll probably be one of those that die waiting to get a surgery date", Well Sally, you have not, you have made it to this point. Apparently our awesome God does not want you yet. Nor do I believe he does tommorrow, I know this is fear that is making you say these words... You truly are prepared for this surgery, just relax, take big breathes and think how hard you have worked to get to this date, you do want it, or you would have never went for it in the first place... Jesus I pray to you, calm my friend Sally, hold her face and love her and let her know it is ok and calm her restless soul. In Jesus name I pray this... Amen. Sally, I just read your post and wanted to hopefully provide you with some reassurance. As nurses we know way too much for our own good sometimes. Be assured that no one in your AMOS family will be disappointed if your decision is to not have surgery. This is a personal decision. The worry about diappointing others is also normal, we never put ourselves first, we are caregivers not receivers. You also know that if you were not concerned/scared that that would not be a good thing. Your music on your site is "Give me one moment in time" This is your moment. Sally, I know your scared. I was too at this point. Just remember, you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. The bible says ask and you shall recieve. Put God to the test and ask him to give you peace over your surgery. I am going to keep you in my prayers and pray for a quick and speedy recovery for you. God Bless and best of luck.

Only two days till the big life changing day. I know your nervous and scared, I am and mine isnt scheduled until the 20th of this month. Just keep in mind, there are alot of people out here praying for you. Although most of us don't know one another in person, there is alot of support here on this site, and I wish you the very best. Sally I'm having surgery tomorrow & I'm feeling the same way. I've been told that's perfectly normal but when it's your feelings it's not normal for you. It's all very scary stuff right now, but you & I, we're suvivors! All we can do is put our faith in God & know that he will be there.

I know your scared, but I know that you will get through it and have your surgery in two days!!! Your a strong person, follow your heart!! Good luck and with God's speed a safe and healthy journey!!!!
