I just wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone have been leaving their kind words of encouragement. My dad printed out a list of all the messages that have been posted over the last month so that he can read them to my mom when she is up for it. Here is a copy of the message I just received from Marilyn's daughter, Shonna: Carolyn; I wanted to send you a quick update on my mom. She's doing better, she's been more alert over the last few days than she's been in the past weeks. Because she can't talk right now she's mouthing words to the nurses and my dad. She also was trying to kiss my dad. ;-) She wanted to know what happened and how long she's been in there. She is also moving here arms and legs. Her side is looking better and is healing. That's all for now. We're very happy things are looking brighter. Oh, she's also going to be a grandma! :-) Shonna You can believe that this is high on my praise list this morning!! (Both miracles - that Marilyn is getting better and that she's going to be a grandmother!!!) Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of your for your support, your prayers, your kind and encouraging words, and your love. Hugs and blessings to all of you!
