Dovie, LOL I just couldn't leave your post unanswered. Before I was an OB nurse, I was a psych nurse. Those docs are *required* to ask those questions about being suicidal. Believe it or not, when someone is truly suicidal, they will almost always admit it. This is because they want help. So... don't be mad at him, he's just doing his job and its a very tough job (well paid however) with a high burn out rate. Have a blessed day! Mary

~HOWDEY~ ALL U WONDERFUL FOLKS... I HAVE TO GO THURSDAY FOR BCB... WHY? ,..DON'T U HAVE TO HAVE BLOOD WORK RIGHT BEFOR SURGERY.. LIKE A WEEK OR SO... WHAT DOES HAPPEN WHEN U HAVE TO COOK FOR UR HUBBIES AND U SMELL ALL THAT GOOD FOOD...NOW THAT IS A SCAREY THOUGHT FOR ME... HEY I AM A FOODALHOIC...I AM SCARED I WILL MESS UP BIG TIME... Thank you for your kindness and support, Dovie. I really appreciate it! My hemoglobin dropped again today so, I'll have to wait and see what the doctor says when he comes in. It has been a long and hard fight but will get through with God's grace. Hope things will go well for you with your surgery. Hugs,

Dovie, I am soooooo sorry to hear how bad your day went yesterday. So many of us have had that kind of situation.. mine was last summer, 5 days before my surgery... passed out at an air show, military police, ambulance, lots of strangers all surrounding me, not able to get up, face in the dirt, you get the idea..... I still remember the humiliation.. but sweetie.. the memory will ease with time. And before you know it, you will be on your way to a new you and reaching all those dreams and goals you have! A big cyper hug sent your way and I hope all the bruises and sores, both mental and physical are healing a bit more each day. Tami

Dovie~ I am so sorry for the bad day you had. What happened to you today is just exactly what most of us as obese people don't want to have happen. We don't want to have attention drawn to us. And then to have to continue the humiliation of trying to get back up to your feet. I feel so awful for you. Tomorrow is a new day. Try to start again with a smile on your face ... despite your swollen lip :(
