Dovie, Thank you for you words of encouragement. I have actually just started the approval process. Still pending insurance approval. The letter was faxed on the 9th of April. Still waiting. I did call today, and she said she would rush it because they have lost 2 of the faxes they recv'd. Hopefully I will hear something by next week. I think once I get approved I will have it pretty quickly since the Dr. I have doesn't have to many scheduled as of yet..Deb

Dovie: Thank you for the kind words you posted to my surgery page. We must pray for patience, right? It is all working out well, really, because my son's surgery is soon, and he will need my help. After he is well on his way to recovering, then I'll be thinking about my own surgery. All in good time. Best wishes as you continue on your journey, as well!

~J~ Here I am again! Just posting another update for Dovie since I'm her angel! She found out from the social security office this week that she doesn't have to have her surgery approved IF her doctor thinks it is necessary for her continued well-being. This means she just has to wait on her surgery date. From what she says, she'd love to have it on May 19th, which is her birthday. She still has one more meeting in Atlanta to attend, but other than that she's waiting on her surgery date and then she'll be good to go!

Dovie, just to let you know that I still had to surgery LAP. The doctor said there was some scarring from my gallbladder that they had to get through but otherwise, everything went well. So maybe you might be able to have it LAP, too. Take care.

~J~ Okay, Jeremy here! As most of you have probably seen, I'm Dovie's angel. (Which I guess is fitting, since I'm an absolute innocent little angel LOL) Anyway, I'm posting to see if I can get the hang of this thing so hopefully I'm doing it right. She's really excited about the surgery, although I don't think she's been too excited about all the tests and blood they had to draw from her... :) (I'm the same way though!) Well, now to see if this works!
