ok it has been a couple of days sorry, here is what we have heard. She found out they are getting her a bigger bed so she will be more comfortable in the hospital and when she gets home they should pay for a walker that is her size and she can walk better with and a wheelchair so she can go places sooner. She is soooo excited about that. She has gotten up to stand and is doing really well she is eating now and I think they put her on some baby type food already but I think it is too soon cause she seems to have a little trouble getting it down. She is going to ask if she can go back to the broth. Well I need to get going will update more soon when there is more to tell, bye, Lisa.

Ok just got a little more info: she is talking now and she is out of ICU got her own room!!!! She says she is feeling ok, but this is her best day yet, lol. she talked to me and my oldest son for just a few short min cause he has been driving me nuts to "talk to nanny" lol, he is happy now, and so am I she is 4 days ahead of where she should be and doing great. Well that is all I know for now I will go up there tomorrow and give u another update when I get back thanks to all for ur kind words and prayer, Lisa.

ok well I just called and they said she is doing great. I can't go up there today because it is almost 25 miles away and gas is getting outragous and she said to wait till she can talk and has a room to go up there so hopefully tomorrow she will get a room and I will go up there. I miss hearing her voice. I usually talk to her every night on here too, I can't believe how hard it is to not IM her, lol but it is all worth it cause soon she will not have time to sit at home on the computer and talk to me we will be too busy shopping and running after kids at the park I can't wait. Well if I find out any thing else I will pass it along as soon as I find out thanks, Lisa.

Darlene, I am so glad you are better. Your profile really touched my heart. I will be praying that you have a sucessful and speedy recovery. God will always be by your side and will never, ever leave you. Be strong and always give praise to the good Lord above. I thank him each and everyday for my life and having this surgery. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself. God Bless!

hi again its me, wow 2 post in one day I'm doing good today, lol. Well I just got back from seeing my mom and she is doing great, they took out the tube that was in her nose and she is off the ventilator, I am sure I spelled that wrong, lol. and Guess what? the scales show her as 703 LBS!!!!!!!!!! she weighed in on operating day at 750 somethings so she has already lost 50 lbs!!!!!!!!!!! yay I am sooooooooo excited. I will continue to update u on a daily basis. Thanks for all the prayers and support. Thanks again Lisa.

Ok I forgot some things yesterday, mom will b in ICU for 5 days to a week and she is on a ventelatore, sorry if that is spelled wrong, they are hoping to get her off of it today, they started yesterday slowly taking her off of it. She can't talk still so maybe today when I go up there she will b able to talk some. She is doing really well and hopefully she will be in a reg room soon. I am passing on all the feedback everyone is sending and she really enjoys hearing what all of you have to say and that you are praying for her.
