I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author)FROM MY HEART TO YOU ~*~Hugs~*~

Wow time flys when you are losing weight.Heres the numbers.Since April 21st of 2003 i have dropped from 363 down to ..........242.I still havent been hungry or craved anything since that time.I have to eat on a time schedule because if i dont i will forget to eat.I have moved from behind a desk at the cable company and switched to a field tech job.It is alot more physical than my old job but i love it.I feel unbelievable but i would hesitate to do it all over again. The first 3 weeks really sucked with the discomfort and gas.Any questions please feel free to email me.

Ok here goes.Life is good when you can actually move around without feeling like you are dying with every step.I weighed in the other day.Since 3/21/03 i am down from 363 to 275.Not to bad i guess it could be mor ecould be less.Food still sucks for the most part.I just really have no appetite at all.I dont crave anything and fast food really looks, smells and tastes horrible.I used to be a fast food junkie.I dont miss soda at all and thats is from drinking 2 2-liters at day at a minimum.I moved from Delaware back to Va with my wife and kids.I thought i would fall back into old habits with the stress of moving but it was pretty easy to stay on track.Oh yeah.....moving sucks.I guess that is it for now.Peace.

Havent updated in a while so here goes.I had my surgey on Monday April 21st and was released on Wed April 23rd.Surgery lasted an hour and a half and went text book.I am not going to lie and say it didnt hurt because it did.The pain meds only dulled the pain but i didnt take anything after i was released from the hospital. The worst part of it all was the gas pains. It went away after about a week and a half.I feel pretty normal now and just have less energy than i used to.I am doing alot of walking and thats about it right now.My food intake is not what it should be because most things just make me fell ill if i even think about them.I manage to get in my real meals and drink lots of water.I still make the mistake of drinking to fast every now and then.I dont miss food at all and dont crave anything.I could just drink water and be happy.Right now that is anyways. At three weeks post op i have gone from a high of 363 down to 317.I weigh in again in a few days at the office.Any questions or comments please feel free to email me.

Allen, DON'T GIVE UP! I know that the disapointment must be hard. But you can make it through this again. Even if it has to be done in 6 months. Please, don't give up. This is the best thing that you can do for you and your family. I am so sorry that you had to go through the disapointment. Reschedule, reschedule, reschedule! Good Luck!

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.

Dear Alan...what a blasted turn of events! I'm sorry things were cancelled. The Lord sure is testing you and your family. Please remain focused and do what's necessary to get another surgery date. But you are right...the hospital should have had Plan B ready to implement. Hugs and blessings, Joy
