Well, its Sunday before my surgery. I called off from work today, my arthritis is really hurting I am one full week off of my meds. I didn't think I would make it! I have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow at 11 am and pre surgical testing on Tuesday at 7 am. Wednesday I will probably be doing a bowel prep and clears so I don't think it will be too much fun! But its getting down to the wire now and I am still excited to get going. Told a few more people this weekend and the support has been outstanding. I am so blessed. God has been good to me. I am so grateful for all the love and support I have recieved on this site and the wisdom and strength everyone of you continues to provide to me and to others just beginning their journey. With God's help, I will be here to help those who come after me to make it through to the losing side. I welcome the challenge. God Bless all who have surgery coming up and all those just starting and of course all who come here. God is Good. Suzza

Good morning everyone. Fine Saturday we are having. Had a misty moment last evening watching everyone in the family dancing at my neices wedding and managed to get my emotions into control and laughed by smearing whipped frosting into my son Jason's face. Laughter through tears. Other than the occasional misty moment I am quite positive about this surgery and how the outcome will be. I wanted you all to know that in 4 days and a wake up (not counting today cuz its already here) I will be going into surgery. I am excited and peaceful right now. Rick and I have to get some things at the store and then see a dear friend later and let her know what the plan is. I have told so few people about this surgery but plan to get in touch with some people over the weekend. I need all the prayers I can get. My husband Rick will be coming here while I am in the hospital to let you all know how I am doing. I hope he has nothing but good news for you all about me. Suzza

Suzza it will be no time and you will be here on the losing side. I am down 25 lbs at the 2 week mark wooooooo hooooooo I am gona visit you the second day because the first day is not really a good visiting day, or at least for me it wasnt. That is the time to rest up and become very friendly with the morphine pump lol. Recovery is hard but ....... it gets better the second day MUCH MUCH better. I will bring the chap stick!
