Hello everyone. Well, I was in the surgeons office today and spoke with Cheryl who told me that she would be working on my chart this afternoon and would call me with updated info. She didn't call! The office was in a bit of an uproar today so I will check back tomorrow. So, nothing really to add except I remain, "Fat Lady in Waiting". Peace and patience to us all. Suzza~

Suzza~ Congratulations on your surgery date! I am waiting for mine. A little impatiently I might add. I wish for you a speedy recovery and an uncomplicated surgery. Take Care.

Hi everyone! Got my letter of confirmation of approval yesterday and marched it straight to the surgeons office! I literally watched as the ins. gal tagged my chart with a postit note saying schedule her for surgery ASAP, and she walked it over to the scheduler and pointed out that I should be looked at for surgery! I still think Mid May will be when I get it done. I had my pharmacological cardiac stress echo done today and I am exhausted. That is not a fun test. Well, that is all for now. I am beginning to get excited that this will all happen soon! Thanks to all of you who come here, read, and post your support and good wishes. Suzza

Good Morning everyone. As you probably have read, I GOT INS. APPROVAL. My insurance company had my file on Monday and gave approval on Friday. I spoke with the ladies in the surgeons office and they tell me mid May to beginning of June is the target date for surgery. I was hoping for an earlier one but the surgeon is on vacation the first two weeks of May. I am happy and will feel much better when I have a firm date. I will keep everyone posted of course, on how everything is progressing. But in the meantime, I cannot thank those of you who have followed my story and prayed for me and gave me words of encouragement. This site is so wonderful because of the people here on it. I know I am not alone on my journey, I am drawn to this site almost every day to read and post. It gives me hope and lifts me up. God Bless each and everyone of you that comes here. Suzza
