Good morning everyone. It is so good that so many people care about what is happening daily to those of us on this long journey. I appreciate every work of support and encouragement. It lifts my hopes and spirit up to read them. I have scheduled my repeat sleep study for sunday, with the CPAP machine. My info has been submitted to ins. just playing the waiting game right now. My hopes for an April surgery date are gone and now I can hope that May or June will happen. I appreciate all the prayers and messages from everyone. They keep me going. Suzza

Hey honey, hang in there! I, too, had tests up the wazoo! Surgeon, pulmonologist, cardiologist, dietician, 2 sleep studies, on and on and seemingly forever on! And it got on my nerves a bit reading about so many people who didn't have to do much at all. The way I helped myself get through it all was to remind myself that every single appointment was helping me be healthier, every one of them. Best of luck! *hugs*

Suzzanne, hang in there sweetie, I had to have all those tests done plus a few more. I had 4 sleep tests and had to have 2 months of psyh. visits. All you can do is be patient, I know that is easier said then done, but I have been there. Just do what the doctors say and your day will come! They want to make sure everything is just right for you to do this.

Hi Suzzanne, Yes I had all the needed test plus more. You surly don't want nothing to happen to you with this op. It's only for your own good. and the ins do want them also. Yes it do wear you down. But hang in there it's all for the good. Best wishes to you on your journey. Hugs

Hello everyone, I feel like I need to correct a mistake. I have not yet had my surgery. I have had a delay due to a change in personel in the surgeons office. I did sit with the family of a internet friend on Thursday when she had surgery and she did fine. Lap RNY and all went well. I am still, however, playing the waiting game. Thanks for all the nice thoughts and prayers. I will count on them when my turn finally comes. Suzza
