Suzzanne - don't worry about a thing - you will do just fine; keep positive attitude before and after surgery. I am a fellow Ohioan (Dayton area) and I have lost 160 lbs with this fantastic surgery. I walk 3 or 4 miles a day. My surgery date: Oct 01. Think positive about your journey!

Good morning all. Its a gray and rainy cold day here in Ohio. But tomorrow is my big day. I am going through some ups and downs but Chat made me feel better. Its so good to hear from the post ops they give me hope. Spoke with Shelly V a few minutes ago, she had her surgery on Monday and will be discharged tomorrow. She says she is doing well, no appetite so sipping broth and a tablespoon of applesauce here and there. She is only having some discomfort not really pain. She feels good and she sounds good. I hope I do that well!!! Just wanted to say, 1 sleep and I wake up to a new birthday! It's great to be alive! God is so good! Suzza

Happy Tuesday everyone! It is bright and sunny and warm here in Ohio. Last nights storms are over and its a gorgeous day. Been thinking about Shelly V and wonder how she is doing 1 day post op. Haven't heard from Al since yesterday and am reluctant to call Charity Hosp. and risk disturbing her. So I dropped her an email and hope Al gets it to her tonight. Maybe she will feel up to calling me tonight or tomorrow. My Pre Surgical Testing went well, EKG, Blood work, physical exam, sign this and that, verify ins. etc. etc. etc......... Have not heard from the surgeon yet as I would have thought I would have. Oh well, they told me in PST that my surgery was scheduled for 7:30 Thursday morning. Boy am I glad its early. ITs terrible to have to wait until midday to have surgery. I plan to have a nice dinner with my husband tonight, take a laxative then have clears all day tomorrow. Another Laxative in the afternoon and by Thursday I will be as clean as a whistle! Well, that is all for now. Good luck to all who are facing surgery this week. God Bless.......Suzza

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
