Dr. S was wonderful! He was very warm while talking to me, he didnt have that glassed over look that I have seen in other counselors. He was able to tell me about me from after 30 minutes of talking to me. We weren't talking about my life, just my plans for the surgery and the top 3 reasons why I wanted to have the surgery, and he was able to pin point me right to a T .. He was great !

I saw Dr. Sabapathy for my pre-surgery psych eval 10-22-04.I attended one of Dr Hoehn's seminars and listened to what his post surgery patients had to say about needing psychiatric counseling in preparation for the RNY. I thought it would be good for me to get started. One of the post RNY patients highly recommended him. Yeah and his name is mispelled on here, it's Sabapathy aka Kumar:P

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sabapathy. I saw him several times in 2003, but stopped going for a year due to poor mental health insurance coverage and my worries about how I was going to pay for the visits. I recently started going again and he remembered things I told him over a year ago. Totally blew my mind! He is an extremely nice man, very knowledgeable of the issues obese people face every day, very easy to talk to. Whether I end up having surgery or not, he has been a great deal of help to me. I highly recommend him.

What can I say. Dr. S ROCKS!!!! I was very reluctant because of financial reasons and he wasn't in my network but I am so glad I looked past that.

Dr. Sabpathy is the best! He's caring, helpful, very easy to talk with and very understanding.

This man is awesome. In the past i've seen other psychologist and absolutly dreaded going. With Dr. Sabpathy i look forward to goin'. Really, he's lucky i haven't stolen the chair from his office, 'cause it's pretty dang nice. ;)

A MAJOR hlep through this whole process. I didnt realize how important my sessions with Dr. Sabpathy woule become. Truly a great assistant in changing/altering your life.

Seems like a very nice person. Wish he was in network for my insurance. Since he wasn't his fee was pretty expensive.

He makes you feel very comfortable and easy to talk to. Definate A+
