I had a great experience with Dr. LoMonaco and his super friendly staff! They all did their best to make me feel comfortable from my initial consultation all they way through until after my surgery. Being overly methodical whenver a big decision is involved, I had consultations with a handful of various doctors before meeting Dr. L, but knew at the beginning of my consult with him that he was the doc for me! He was very knowledgeable & spoke to me in a way that was less clinical and more informal, which in addition to answering all of my questions, really helped to ease any apprehensions I had. I really appreciated that he took his time in speaking to me and answering my questions (I think my first consult was quite long!) because I never felt like I was wasting his time or "just another number." He just had a way of making me feel very comfortable. Before my surgery he swiftly came to the rescue when I bombarded him with a pile of last minute concerns, which only further confirmed I had made the right decision. I knew that he had a full understanding of my ultimate goal and I trused him to carry that out. My experience at the hospital where I had the surgery was also great! The staff that helped prep me there, before his own came for the actual procedure, were all so kind & friendly. Since the surgery, his staff has been very helpful in ensuring I'm doing well (multiple people called me the weekend following my surgery...including Dr. L...to check on me); and although I'm still in the "healing" process, I can positively say that I am more than pleased that I chose Dr. L to take me through this big life choice. ~ HS

Dr. LoMonaco is a seriously talented surgeon. He, and his staff, seem to really care about you as an individual and he really listens. He's also great at explaining everything to you and doesn't give you any sort of false expectations about what to expect from the surgery. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift with Dr. L in 2010 after massive weight loss and I couldn't be happier with the results!

I have had lower body lift, breast lift with implants (2 times), back of chest lift, arm lift, thigh lift (2 times) and lipo in numerous area...not to mention laser hair removal!!!
The outcome is fantastic. The nurses are the best. And my thigh lift was not an easy job...the second to worst he has done due to my short legs... :)
I would never go to someone else!!!! I trust him with 27 hour of surgery time!!

I met Dr L several years ago at a Weight Loss convention in Dallas. I was impressed with his session and was excited to be able to make an appt for my possible plastic surgery. It took a couple of years before I was able to see him. After this it took me 3 more years before I finally decided to have it done.

I had a lower body lift with auto augmentation of my butt. It went very well and University Hospital treated me very well during my stay. That was a little over a year ago. I ended up with 2 unfavorable scars that he went in and revised a week ago.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much his office staff and himself have done for me in the last year. My body looks awesome, thank you Dr L!! I used Houston Hospital for Specialized surgery on this trip and they are awesome there as well,and was done on an outpatient basis. Excellent results already. My scarring is minimal and I feel better then I have since I was 16!!

All in all awesome and caring staff(I would name them all but I am afraid I would leave someone out) that treats you like family, beautiful surroundings, and low wait time in the office. What more could you ask for?

Dr. LoMonaco changed my life! I lost over 200 lbs with gastric bypass and while that is impressive, I still didn't like the view in the mirror. John and his staff made me feel like family, not like a patient. I have had a total of 3 surgeries. I had a lower body lift, my arms, inner thighs, breast lift and most recently breast implants. My surgeries were all a success and the attention to detail he personally gave meant the world to me. (He even took a call while on vacation to answer a question - what dr does that?) Love 'em there!

I absolutely love Dr. Lomonaco and his staff. He is one of the best surgeons -- very knowledgeable, direct and has a good bedside manner. His staff is professional, caring and efficient. Dr. LoMonaco was my second opinion for a lower body lift with breast lift after roux-en-y surgery and a loss of 150 lbs. Dr. L spent a lot of time explaining the surgery, answering all of my questions, and customizing my procedure. I felt he looked at my needs and designed procedures customized to my body. He told me what I needed and what I didn’t need and I felt I could trust him. His pain management is excellent. I felt uncomfortable but my pain never exceeded a 3 on a scale of 1-10. I don’t know how he does it, but the pain management is amazing! Janet and Sally are very personable and treated me as they would treat a friend. I believe Dr. L’s experience, background, and honesty are outstanding, and I fully recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I went to Dr. Lomonaco after my Gastric Sleeve last year for what is known as a Lower Body Lift. I had previously lost 200+ lbs as a result of a Sleeve Gastrectomy and had a great deal of excess skin. This year I had my 2nd round of surgery, my final surgery, which removed excess skin from my arms, legs and back.

I have nothing but praises for Dr. Lomonaco and his staff. They are incredibly friendly and you simply feel comfortable coming to his office. Whenever I have arrived they have been both quick to greet me and quick to see me. I love that the staff remembers who I am before I even sign-in! Dr. Lomonaco is both professional and personable making sure you have all the information you need, the opportunity to ask any question during your visit, and the opportunity for follow-up contacting after your appointment (should you need it).

Thus far I am almost three weeks post surgery and I love how things have turned out!
